A family
Alexander Feldman was born on 6.01.1960 in Ukraine, in Kharkov. His parents were Soviet people. At this time, Feldman Alexander Borisovich was brought up. His family was simple. Mom worked in kindergarten for more than 10 years. Then she went to school as a primary school teacher. There she worked for 35 years. My father tried to provide the family with everything necessary and always worked in several places.
In the Feldman family, the main priorities have always been decency, caring for loved ones, mutual assistance. Parents taught him not to ask, but to earn what he wants. The family reigned high morality. At such facilities, Alexander Feldman grew up. The family was for him the first and best teacher of life.

Education
Feldman Alexander Borisovich graduated from high school. But entered the Kharkov National University. Karazin not immediately, but somewhat later. At the Faculty of Economics. Upon graduation, he received a degree in economics. He wrote a dissertation on charity and psychology.
First independent earnings
Alexander Borisovich learned what work is, at the age of 14. At that time he was fascinated by aquarium fish. I really wanted to buy new ones. I decided to earn money on my own. Parents were at first opposed, but Alexander insisted, and they surrendered.
Feldman's uncle arranged for him to work with a friend at the post office. The guys worked for a month. He remembered for life that this is a very difficult and exhausting work. For those working conditions, according to Alexander, women working at the post office needed to be given awards. The smell of printing ink was remembered by Feldman for his whole life.
He and a friend nearly quit their job. But still remained. And a month later they received their first legal salary. He never bought a fish, and gave all the money he earned to his mother. Starting from the 8th grade, he worked as a loader until the 10th. He still gave his salary to his mother, without spending anything on himself.

Alexander Borisovich served in the city of Stryi, Lviv region. He made friends with some of the guys, and they maintain friendly relations to date. There was also a lot of negative, for example hazing. But according to Feldman, the main thing is not to give yourself offense, not to submit to brute force and always remain yourself. For his views and beliefs, he often had to wash the barracks. But nevertheless he did not allow to scoff at himself. A year later, he himself became a grandfather.
After the army
After the army, Alexander Feldman already on the third day got a job in a taxi. I went on an old Volga. It broke, often there were no spare parts. Passengers came across different. According to Feldman, for a couple of years of work, he passed an excellent regular lesson in a life school.
Once he even fell into a swamp, and he was sought from a helicopter. But Alexander notes that communicating with people is really interesting. And he believes that the period of work as a taxi driver is one of the best in his life. Although he plowed without a vacation. The head of the taxi fleet simply did not give it.
At one point, Feldman could not stand it. I bought tickets to Sochi and went to rest with my girlfriend. When he returned, he received a work book with a note of dismissal at the entrance to the taxi park.
Further career
After being fired from the taxi fleet, Feldman left and got settled to guard the gardens. His girlfriend (future wife) followed him. At that time, Alexander was only 22 years old. They lived in inhuman conditions - in a booth where there was no water and heating. The time was cold, frosty. Not enough food and money. But together they managed.
But protecting the gardens was only a temporary option. Finally, work ended there, and Alexander Feldman, whose biography is further closely connected with charity, decided to try to become an entrepreneur in order to ensure not only his stable income, but also later to help people.
These were the times of the Soviet Union. It was almost impossible to make big money legally at that time. But Alexander took a chance. The company "Vesnyanka" was created. It was necessary to carry out various works — upholstery of doors, glazing of balconies, painting of floors, etc. Then a cooperative movement began, and Feldman's father opened a similar company.
First, Alexander worked for him. Then he created his own company "AutoExpressKonstruktsii" (briefly, "AVEC"). A little later, she turned into a joint stock company. From 2001 to 2004 he was president of the Metalist football club.
Shopping center "Barashkovo"
Alexander Feldman, whose photo is in this article, created the Barashkovo shopping center. This project was supported by AVEC. The shopping center is considered one of the largest in Europe. More than 60 thousand people work there. Its area is almost 70 hectares. Nearly 2,500 shoppers visit the mall every day.
Hobbies Feldman
Alexander never realized two childhood dreams. He wanted to become a veterinarian or investigator. But basically, he always achieved what he wanted. In childhood, he collected shells and knives. As an adult, he always sought to make good money. This makes it possible to help people, spend money on charity work.
From childhood, Alexander loves animals and travels. Now collects Japanese figures made of ivory. And also edged weapons, wines and all the same shells that he began to collect from childhood.
Feldman's personal life
At the friend Alexander Feldman met his future wife. Their relationship was stormy. They parted and reconciled again. They got married 1.5 years after the first meeting. Alexander’s wife was always there.
And still supports, helps and accepts Alexander as he is. With all its advantages and disadvantages. They had a son, who is now an adult. He is married, and Feldman has already become a grandfather. The grandson was named David.
Political career
From 1998 to 2002, Feldman was a deputy of the Kharkov City Council. Then - the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada. Since 1999, he has been president of the Jewish Foundation and the community.
In the Verkhovna Rada, he headed the subcommittee on international relations and human rights. Alexander Feldman was engaged in foreign policy activities, which are closely related to Israel.
In 2006, he founded the International Center for Tolerance, whose goal is the fight against extremism and the protection of human rights. In 2007 - Member of the Council of Leaders of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and the Royal Institute for International Relations.
Since 2011, he has been a member of the Party of Regions. Feldman represents the interests of Ukraine in a coalition against anti-Semitism. It was founded in 2009 by the Prime Minister of England. Alexander is one of the founders of the Coexistence Organization, which was created in 2005. Now it includes representatives from 54 countries of the world.
Charity
In 1997, Alexander founded a charity fund from AVEC in Kharkov and led it. In 2007, the organization was transformed and named after Feldman. This is one of the largest charitable foundations in Ukraine. In 2007, he entered the top 5 largest in the country. According to the results of 2008 and 2009 took the 3rd place in the rating according to the newspaper Delo among the largest philanthropists of the country. In 2010, he became the leader in the “Help for the Unprotected” nomination. The priorities of the charity fund are directed towards single mothers, protecting childhood and motherhood, helping disabled children, orphans and large families, supporting socially disadvantaged groups, and helping to develop culture, sports and education.
Helping Israeli children
Feldman launched charity work not only in Ukraine, but also in Israel. She goes modestly, not advertised. In 2006, after the 2nd Lebanon war, he helped 70 children undergo the necessary rehabilitation, bringing them to the recreation center of the Khmelnitsky region. This was made possible thanks to the charitable foundation created by Alexander. Assistance to children was agreed in advance with the Deputy Mayor of Nahariya and the Ambassador of Israel.
A year later, Feldman funded the rest of another 30 children. This time from Sderot. As a result of shelling, they lost relatives and friends. Qualified psychologists worked with them. Alexander also funds the Malchut David Kindergarten, located near Jerusalem.
