Kurabye is a cookie familiar to us from Soviet times. Few people know that it has eastern roots, a recipe was brought from the Crimea. Readiness can be checked by trying on the hand (the dough should not stick to the skin).

The oven should already be on and the temperature set at 180-200 degrees. Cut a piece of parchment paper and place on a baking sheet. Put a figured cookie in a confectionery bag or a syringe and make a dimple in the middle, which should be filled with jam mixed with starch.

Usually 10-15 minutes are enough for the products to brown.

Two-color cookies

This variation also exists, but is sometimes referred to in the stores as “In Love”. The Kurabye cookie recipe at home will be based on the previous, gostovskiy. Only for him we need cocoa, which is added to 1/3 of the finished dough. The amount of powder depends on the manufacturer.
