Everything that is somehow connected with the name of Jesus Christ is of great importance to a person. Even if he does not consider himself to be one of the religions, his life milestones invariably echoes one or another fact from the life of the Savior.
Particularly bright achievement of a certain age is expressed in symbolism. Namely, when a person turns 33 years old, this boundary is unconditionally called the age of Jesus Christ.
Why exactly 33 years? After all, as you know, there are no accidents. And on such a global scale, it’s for sure. What is the age of Christ, everyone knows.
Religious figures and historians scrupulously calculated that it was at age 33 that Jesus was crucified. But this is not the end of the matter. On the day of the crucifixion, a solar eclipse occurred. According to astronomers, it happened in the 33rd year BC. e. And then they concluded that the Savior died on Friday, April 3, at 3 p.m., and at that time the age of Jesus Christ was 33 years old.
In modern understanding, the age of Christ speaks of achieving maturity in all aspects: physical, spiritual, mental. Is this really so - not
clear. But it is in this way that a person perceives the achievement of his 33rd birthday.
In society, we are surrounded by many superstitions and signs. But not a comparison: 33 is the age of Christ. But the fact that you can’t celebrate your birthday this year is superstition.
Expressed in modern language, “the guy lived, stirred up the people so that they still remember,” flashes in everyone’s thoughts. And there is a certain comparison, reflection on oneself: they say, but what have I achieved? That’s the age of Christ already ... So the symbolism of the 33rd anniversary is in many ways useful. A kind of impetus to think about yourself and the eternal.
Unfortunately, everything that the Savior brought to our world is perceived too ordinary. It seems that everyone honors, but the commandments are still not fulfilled. And with pride, even believers have a mess. Not to mention the laity. Believers in this regard are even more difficult. No, no, and the little thought warms: I somehow believe, I will be saved ... And this, anyway, is the notorious sense of superiority. So we all work on ourselves and work.
Undoubtedly, it is unfortunate that, despite the thousands of years of work and the efforts of religious figures of all ranks, the layman basically only remembers that Jesus was crucified at 33. And this is only because in our time this age has already become a household name. And what did he do, what did he command? Of course, something good. But here is what?
If until now the words of the Savior have not penetrated into the very heart, then it is not a matter of fact that religion slightly, but distorted, a little, but lied to them. To my advantage, of course. No wonder that she traded in indulgences. Took the role of the Lord on Earth. But what's the point? .. Everyone already knows where the world is heading. Without love of God, without love of neighbor.
However, despite some disadvantages, there are positive aspects. There is a lot of discussion about Christ. Both esotericists and scientists. In recent decades, many discoveries have been made that
prove that the science we believe in is for the most part false. That a person never descended from a monkey, and this whole theory was “far-fetched”, and was undoubtedly beneficial to certain forces. I am glad that scientists in their research came to the concept of God and prove that He is.
So, no doubt, the “age of Christ” is present in our lives - this is a positive moment. And it is incredibly sorry that the results from this are so few ...
