Ural State College of Polzunov in Yekaterinburg (UGK) is an educational institution with vast experience in training personnel. It began to accumulate in 1724 - since the opening of the Yekaterinburg Mining School. Now it’s already 2018. Having grown out of school, the Ural State College has gone a long way from a small educational institution to a large multidisciplinary secondary special educational institution.

Only 5 programs are associated with the IT department. These are Computer Networks, Automation of Technological Processes and Production, Information Security of Automated Systems, Programming in Computer Systems, and Information Security of Automated Systems.
The economic department and the service and law department at Polzunov College offer everyone the well-known specialties - “Advertising”, “Economics and Accounting”, “Banking”, “Tourism”, “Law and Organization of Social Security”, etc. These structural divisions attract applicants but some are disappointed. The fact is that in almost all specialties educational services are provided for a fee. Only on "Advertising" and "Service of household and communal services" there are budget places.
The work of the selection committee
Polzunov College annually opens its doors to applicants around June 15th. Acceptance of documents in the loan begins on the specified date, and it ends, as a rule, on August 15 (it is recommended that you find out the exact date of the end of the admission campaign in college). During this period, applicants wishing to enter an educational institution are required to come to the selection committee, write an application on the model and present a package of documents:
- original or copy of passport;
- original or copy of certificate (diploma);
- 4 photographs;
- original or copy of medical certificate (it is not required in all specialties).
For individuals living in other cities, the college provides the ability to send documents by mail (copies). But in electronic form it is impossible to submit all the necessary papers. This method is not provided in an educational institution. Nonresident applicants can also consider options for admission to college affiliates.
Certificate contest
Applicants enter Ural State College of Polzunov without any problems, stresses and excitement, because there are practically no exams in all specialties. Reception is conducted through a competition of certificates. The members of the selection committee for each applicant calculate the average score of the document on education (add up all the grades and divide by their number). Then, after the end of the acceptance of documents to the available places, those applicants are enrolled for whom the average certificate grade is the highest.
If the document contains only triples, then most likely it will not work to enter the Ural State College. In colleges, competition among applicants is high. In 2017, the specialty “Insurance business” was the least popular, but even there was a competition at it. In this area, 25 paid seats were provided, and 34 applications were accepted. Creative entrance test
There is an entrance exam in only one specialty at the Polzunov College. It is provided for in “Advertising” and is aimed at revealing creative abilities of applicants. Applicants bring with them several A4 sheets, paints or colored pencils, as well as a water tank (if you plan to use paints).
The exam includes several tasks. First, applicants draw the image of a word, using only geometric shapes. Then the resulting picture is supplemented a little to convey a certain character, mood. After that, color and verbal description is performed.
Medical examination
Polzunov Ural State College has several such specialties that it is impossible to enter without undergoing a preliminary medical examination. These include:
