Times are changing, and the meanings of some words are changing. So with the concept of "sect" the same thing happened. Previously quite legitimate was such an answer to the question of what a sect is: it is a small religious group that separated
from the main religion adopted in this territory. No negative burden, at least from the point of view of an atheist, carried the word within itself. Today, things are different. The word "sect" in most people, even little familiar with religious movements, causes vivid negative associations. Why is this happening?
What is a sect today?
Today, sects are still a group of people who believe what they think is God, but not quite (or not at all) as official religion calls for. Sect today -
this is a very profitable, very cruel and inhuman way to subjugate a lot of people, deprive them of the will to enrich one person who is at the head of the current. A sect cripples life, and sometimes it just kills. Unfortunately, this is not an exaggeration. Here are just a few names of sects, whose members left home, sold their property, forever broke off ties with relatives. But this is not the worst. Sectarians lost their will, ceased to be sane, adequate personalities.
- Jehovah's sect. She came to us from Ukraine, and got there during the war from America, where she acted since 1878. They do not believe in the Trinity, but in Jehovah, believing that Christ is only his instrument. People continue to be recruited (there are already more than 3 million of them), although they preach that only 144 thousand will go to heaven. They advocate leaving home, from wealth. The current rests on a rigid totalitarian discipline, a strict hierarchy. Use methods of NLP, zombies.
- Aum Senrique. In Russia, a little common, fortunately. The explosion in the Tokyo subway is their work. So they fought with the Gentiles.
- Whips. In their opinion, only the castrato (more precisely, the Skopets) will achieve the kingdom of heaven and earthly prosperity, and the rest are sinners. All the boys born are castrated. True, few got rich from this, but hundreds suffered.

Why do you need to fight sectarians?
What is a sect? Moving away from the world, avoiding problems, fleeing from oneself. This is a broken life, poverty, often a shattered psyche. Hundreds of people suffered from beatings, mental bullying and humiliation of leaders. What are only mass departures under the ground, self-immolation and other group actions taking away hundreds of believers. But if a person is doing well, does he really need a sect? Church? There is a psychotherapist or other people who can listen, regret, promise grace and solve all problems. Probably everyone wants to be weak for at least a minute. This is what sectarians use, promising something that is currently lacking for a tired, upset, stressed person.
What is a sect?
This is an excellent knowledge (by the organizers, of course) of NLP, other methods of programming the psyche. This is the road to nowhere. Therefore, having met people with brochures on the street, bypass them. God save, as they say, saves.
