- Reliable and have little elasticity properties - they are stretched when cracks appear in the walls under them. In new buildings, it’s worth gluing such wallpapers, because they are not afraid of shrinkage.

- Easy to care for. But it is necessary to pay attention to moisture resistance in order to choose the method of washing and cleaning.

- Fireproof. A very important advantage, especially if there are children in the house. If ignited, they simply begin to melt.
An additional advantage will be that they are breathable and vapor permeable, mostly moisture resistant, but different wallpapers have different parameters for this parameter, so they are often purchased for rooms with high humidity in the air, kitchens, and basements.

Wallpaper calculation
Before gluing non-woven wallpaper on your own, you need to make their calculation.
- Measure the height of the walls of the room from the baseboard to the ceiling.
- Measure the lengths of all walls of the room.
- The sum of the lengths is multiplied by the height.
- Subtract the area of windows and doors (multiply the length by width).

Execution technique
It was already mentioned above that non-woven wallpaper comes with an image, pattern and for painting.
They have three layers:
- Vinyl.
- Opaque, masking wall irregularities.
- Non-woven backing.
Before gluing non-woven wallpaper on a paper basis, it is necessary to prepare the surface.

Pour cold water close to room temperature into a container of sufficient free volume, since starch is the basis, pour the mixture into it. When calculating the amount of funds needed, you should consider:
- density and structure of wallpaper;
- surface;
- consumption (indicated on the package).
It is necessary to strictly observe the dosage and stir quite intensively. It is desirable to achieve such a consistency that there are no lumps. Then leave for the time specified in the instructions (usually five minutes). If the glue is too thick, then add water to dilute and mix until a homogeneous consistency.
Next, you need to mark on the walls. For proper marking, use a level or a plumb line. Mark the width of the canvas and make a vertical mark on the opposite side.
Sliced cloths must necessarily be rolled up, but not tightly, with the decorative side inward.

Rules for wallpapering the walls
To do the job efficiently, you must adhere to certain rules.
- Before gluing non-woven wallpaper on a paper basis, you need to determine the length of the wall from the edge of the canvas to the doorway, or rather the box. This is necessary to stick the canvas evenly, exactly parallel to the opening.
- Finish pasting the room is recommended over the doorway.
- Start wall pasting from the nearest corner, following to the window.
- Glue the wallpaper canvas exactly vertically; to determine the angle of inclination should use a plumb line.

Step-by-step instruction

- The next roll is cut in the same way, but if a drawing is needed, it is better to check, and only then cut it off. Mark each canvas by number or, if it is necessary to combine the pattern, in the direction.
- The glue is prepared in advance, strictly according to the instructions. Cook in small portions so that he does not have time to lose his properties.
- The finished adhesive solution is applied to the wall with a roller or bone. Be sure to apply with a margin so that the edge is fixed and glued.
- The cut canvas is applied to the wall and spreads from top to bottom. You need to move according to the following scheme: from the center of the canvas up, then right, left and finally down. Smoothing to remove air and creases is necessary with pressure, but very carefully and slowly, so that the work efficiency is increased and the wallpaper is not damaged.
- Excess wallpaper can be removed with a clerical knife using a spatula (for alignment).
- Excess glue mixture must be promptly removed with a cloth, otherwise yellow marks will remain at the joints of the wallpaper.
- Each subsequent sheet is glued in a similar pattern. The joint should be tried to make it as tight as possible. To do this, it is additionally in the place of contact that you need to walk the roller several times.
- This type of wallpaper does not deform when dried.
- In the corners should be glued with an overlap. Then carefully cut off the excess and press firmly.
Is it possible to glue non-woven wallpaper for the battery (radiator)? Can. There are 2 ways?
- You can remove the radiator by installing plugs, but for such work you will have to call the plumbing and spend money. The wall needs to be primed and glued wallpaper. This is the most beautiful and inconspicuous option.
- The second option is to stick the wallpaper without removing the battery. Here you will need attentiveness, dexterity and great patience.
