In 2001, a young man decides to team up with Anatoly Sedykh to conduct a joint business. To this end, he proposes combining assets for the above-mentioned enterprise.
Komarov’s activities were very diverse and active, because he simultaneously held several important posts. In 2001, he was a member of the board of directors of the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant, and after that he held the post of chairman of the board of directors in another metallurgical company. Soon, Andrei Ilyich talks about his idea to create an Alliance-1420. The goal of this project was to produce large-sized metal pipes at the Vyksa plant. Anatoly Sedykh and Andrei Komarov got along very well as business partners. Their affairs went up, which was evident from the results and liquidity of their joint business. It is known that the plans of this duet were also huge: they wanted to formalize their association legally and enter an IPO. Unfortunately, this was not destined to happen. After a year and a half of active and fruitful cooperation, which brought good profit, the partners nevertheless decided to go different paths. Incredibly, all these events happened in just one year.
In 2002, Komarov became even more involved in his activities and took the post of co-chair in the Pipe Industry Development Fund. A year later, Andrey Komarov became the chairman of the board at United Pipe Plants CJSC (now ChTPZ Group). He remains in this position until 2004, and already in 2005 he became a member of the board of directors at the named enterprise.
Residents of Chelyabinsk perfectly saw what success one of their fellow citizens is achieving. Komarov’s affairs went up, he quickly and productively achieved his goals, each time raising the bar higher and higher. In September 2005, he begins to represent the Chelyabinsk region in the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. The decision was made by the residents of the city at a vote. In 2005-2006 he appeared in the circle of members of the board of directors at the Pervouralsk Novotrubny Zavod. In addition to all this, from 2000 to 2010, Andrei Komarov has been actively involved in the protection of nature and environmental protection, and is even a member of the government committee dedicated to these issues. In 2009, Komarov Andrey decided to sell the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant. The new owners are Andrei Kozitsyn and Igor Altushkin.
