For more than half a century, engineers at the elite AMG tuning department have been engaged in special refinement of the brainchild of the Mercedes-Benz automobile concern. If you look at the model from a decent distance, it seems that this is a standard C-class. But if you look closely, all the innovations become noticeable. The Mercedes C63 AMG sedan has a new radiator grill with a large brand nameplate in the center. On the front bumper are three aggressive air intakes.

Even on the doorsteps of this car there are aerodynamic elements - all this hints at the frisky and daring nature of the car. On the AMG model, the clearance is lowered by 25 mm (105 mm). A stylish spoiler is installed on the trunk. Four aggressive exhaust pipes are visible on the rear bumper.

The interior is decorated with real expensive leather (even the front panel of the car is trimmed with it), there are inserts from brushed aluminum. In non-basic configurations, carbon elements are added. The Mercedes C63 AMG sports steering wheel is very comfortable, at the bottom it is flat beveled. The steering column is equipped with manual gearshift switches, and the steering wheel is equipped with a powerful electric power amplifier.
All Mercedes devices are planted in separate wells, some call this type of design motorcycle. Between the devices there is a large color display on which all relevant information from the on-board computer of the car is displayed (including data on car stabilization, tire pressure indicators, etc.), in addition, a duplicate projection of traffic information on the windshield is provided. In the central part of the C63 AMG cabin is the screen of the multimedia complex from Comand (the system has 12 speakers). There is a rear view camera, separate climate control, a driver fatigue tracking sensor, adaptive cruise control and much more.

The landing in the car is very comfortable, the front sports seats have good lateral support, they have many adjustments that are implemented through an electric drive. The rear passenger row is very spacious, but the bulky transmission tunnel will interfere with the central passenger. The trunk is quite spacious, its volume is about 500 liters.
Engine and transmission
C63 AMG has a V-shaped eight under the hood with a volume of 4.0 liters and a twin turbocharger. The motor is always assembled by one engineer of the company, its painting is visible on the motor cover. The power of such a power unit reaches 475 hp, and the AMG C63 S has even higher power - about 510 horses.

We will not dissemble and say that in real life this car consumes at least twice as much in city traffic (when driving is not in the right lane). On suburban roads declared 7 liters per 100 kilometers. The engine of the car works with a 7-speed automatic transmission (there is a manual gear shift mode on the steering wheel). The suspension is completely independent (double levers are installed in front, a multi-link in the back).
The brakes
Mercedes C63 AMG is equipped with a special disc brake with additional ventilation function. The diameter of the front brake discs is almost 40 cm, the rear brake discs are about 35 cm in diameter. For an additional fee, you can get carbon-ceramic brakes (new for Mercedes). The car has at its disposal all the necessary systems (ESP, Brake Assist, EBD and ABS).

This is a more daring version. If the most powerful sedan with a stretch can still be called a family man’s car, then in matters with the coupe it won’t work out like that - he’s an "inveterate bachelor". Mercedes Benz C63 AMG Coupe on the road is less common than a sedan or station wagon, precisely because of its impractical use as the main car. Car prices bite a bit.
Coupe C63 AMG start from the mark of seven and a few million rubles. It is worth noting that this is the price for the basic model with the most standard equipment. Focusing on the price, we can safely conclude that this is not a car for daily trips for the average citizen. This is a car for very wealthy people. Is this car worth the money they ask for it?
