Creativity at any age is fun. This process is very individual, each person, whether he is one year old or eighty-one, puts his soul, feelings and his own special understanding into it. And especially brightly, individuality manifests itself when a person picks up paint.
Suppose you have an urgent need to draw something. Or your child, came from school with a drawing task and asked you the question: βHow to draw an autumn landscape?β This is not as difficult as it seems at first glance.
In this article I want to share with you a simple but very creative way of how to draw an autumn landscape without spending a lot of time and effort. This method is also original in that we do not need knowledge of perspective.
What do you need to cook for work?
- Paper for painting. It is preferably dense so that it does not get wet from the water.
- Watercolors are preferable. If you do not have such paints, you can draw with gouache and acrylic. In other words, any paints that are diluted with water.
- Sponge, you can use small sponges for washing dishes.
- Brush
- Capacity for water.
- A palette or plate for the convenience of working with a sponge.
- Creative mood.
Drawing an autumn landscape will give you pleasure. This method has no framework for imagination and creativity. For your convenience, photos will be posted in the article that will clearly tell how to draw an autumn landscape.
Before you start work, decide on a gamut of colors. As we paint autumn, the primary colors will be yellow, orange, brown and red. We will need a little blue for the sky and dark brown paint for the branches of the trees.
Step 1
Lay a sheet of paper in front of you. Dilute the desired color on the palette, grab the paint with a sponge and lightly apply on paper. A little orange, a little blue, etc.
If you see a photograph or another picture, periodically move away from work and use squinted eyes to compare color spots. At this stage, apply the paint very lightly, it should be strongly diluted with water, but not drip from the sponge.
Step 2
Let the paper dry a little. This step is that you apply a second coat of paint. But not over the entire surface of the leaf, but pay more attention to the foliage. Do not touch the blue sky anymore.
Step 3
Now sponge color accents in three to four places. For this, the paint needs to be taken in a more intense color.
Step 4
It's time to brush. Paint brown branches of the trees. They should, as it were, look through the autumn foliage.
Of course, you can draw an autumn landscape with a pencil, and only then "walk" with paints. But this method is good precisely because you yourself create a picture using color spots. Here your imagination is included in the work, and you simply improvise on the theme of autumn.
Now you know the original way to paint an autumn landscape. And the value of this method is not in the ability to paint a landscape, but in the ability to paint with color spots.
