According to statistics, most couples cannot have their own children, because they wanted to live only for themselves for some time. In addition, many simply could not get pregnant for a long time. In any case, doctors say that the longer infertility lasts, the harder it is to cure it and return young people the opportunity to have their own baby. That is why you need to contact specialists if you canโt get pregnant after six months of continuous attempts. For this purpose, it is worth choosing only specialized clinics and experienced doctors. The thing is that many couples first try to cure infertility in local clinics at their place of residence for a long time, and only after three to five years they turn to specialists in this field. Unfortunately, in this way they simply lose precious time.
The causes of infertility in women have been studied for several decades by scientists around the world. To date, several major causes of such a violation have been identified. First of all, these are problems with a process called ovulation. In general, a womanโs menstrual cycle is twenty-one to thirty-five days. If it is smaller or larger, there is a risk that the egg is either not viable or does not mature at all. In this case, the ovaries most often produce follicles, which are initially immature. Naturally, none of them can subsequently give rise to an egg. As a result, ovulation does not occur in a particular woman, the eggs do not mature, and the manโs sperm have nothing to fertilize. It is worth noting that today these are the most common causes of infertility in women.
Another problem that leads to such disorders in the female body is ovarian dysfunction. This is usually the result of a malfunction in the pituitary - hypothalamus system. In such a situation, the production of hormones necessary for a woman is disrupted. If such activity is violated, signals that a certain amount of hormones need to be produced are not received. As a result of these substances, either too much is produced or not enough. Of course, this affects the maturation of the follicles and eggs themselves. Quite often, a malfunction of the pituitary-hypothalamus system occurs as a result of tumors, severe injuries of the head region, as well as various kinds of chemical disorders directly in the pituitary gland.
These are not all the causes of infertility in women. Various hormonal problems can be included in this list. For example, some hormonal disorders quite often lead to the absence of maturing eggs or menstruation itself. Moreover, this situation can be caused by violations not only in the functioning of the genitals, but also in the pancreas and thyroid gland.
Early menopause and polycystic ovary are two other causes of infertility in women. As for the first problem, the norm menopause falls at the age of fifty-five years. However, in some women, egg production ceases much earlier. The reason for this process, unfortunately, is currently unknown. As for polycystic ovary, it represents the appearance of neoplasms in these organs, which lead to impaired function.
The causes of female infertility are not only the factors described above. Disorders in the church canal, cervical erosion, unbroken follicle syndrome, endometriosis and, finally, psychological reasons - all this can lead to the fact that a woman will be deprived of the opportunity to become pregnant and give birth to her own child. It is worth saying that infertility can be primary and secondary. In the first case, the woman never became pregnant at all. With a secondary one, a woman who has ever given birth or is pregnant at all cannot have a baby. The causes of secondary infertility are, first of all, abortion and untreated diseases of the organs of the reproductive system. That is why every woman should be examined by a specialist at least once every six months in order to avoid such problems.
