To install silent locks, it is not necessary to change door handles, grubs, order new keys, cables and central lock drives . It is enough to replace only the element where the fixing hook is located.
The procedure is carried out in several stages. Two bolts that hold the lock are initially unscrewed. The element is dismantled so that it does not fall through the door. To do this, the lower bolt is first unscrewed, and the lower part of the element is sideways. Then the upper bolt loosens, the element is removed. It remains to establish a silent analog by the same method, only in the reverse order.
Further, on the stand where the lock is located, the bolt is unscrewed and the pin is removed, and a new one is screwed in instead.
Thus, silent locks on all doors change. After the installation is completed, it remains only to adjust the elements so that they close tightly and do not damage the paintwork of the body.
