Moscow Pedagogical State University in 6 years will be one and a half centuries. At the time of Emperor Alexander II, it was called Moscow Higher Women's Courses, it was the very first university in Russia, where women of any class could get higher education, until that moment Russian women studied only abroad. Story
At first, the course program was designed for two years and did not provide for any specializations, mainly history and philology were taught.
