Biography
Vladimir Zakharov was born in the territory of the current Nizhny Novgorod region, then it was called Gorky. He began to sing in kindergarten. At school he participated in various competitions and concerts. Inspired by the work of the Resurrection and Time Machine collectives, he organized the first group with his comrades in the 9th grade. He attended a music school, but left it because of a conflict with his teacher. He became a student at the Pavlovsk Art College. Got a specialty engraver. Vladimir Zakharov achieved his first success as a performer and musician in 1986 at the Gorky Rock Festival. There, the newly formed Rock Island team was awarded the title of laureate. Since 2000, mainly lives in Moscow. The musician and his family first rented an apartment in the northwestern part of the capital, and then bought it. He lives near the Timiryazev Academy.
