The demon Amon is the ancient god of the Middle East, “the most powerful, powerful and most severe Marquis”, according to the “Small Key of Solomon”, from all the demons of Goetia. He controls 40 hellish legions or, according to another legend, commands the first army of Hell. This is one of those three spirits who report directly only to the great general Satan-shia.
Description
Amon (or Aamon) was first mentioned by Johann Vieyer in 1583 in the grimoire “Pseudo-monarchy of demons” - a book that provides a detailed description of all such spirits with instructions for calling them. About Amon, it says something like the following: “Amon is the great and mighty Marquis, first appearing in the form of a Wolf with a huge snake tail and flame. Breathes fire. At the command of a sorcerer, he can turn into a person with a Dog’s teeth or a bird’s head. He is the strongest prince of all the rest. He understands the whole past and future, is able to reconcile friends and enemies. Manages legions of simple demons. ”
One of the ancient artists, the demon Amon was depicted as a strange beast with a long twisting serpentine tail. Some supposedly sorcerers claimed that he could turn into a person with a raven's head. It is possible that he often appeared before the Egyptians who worshiped him. They knew him as Ammon, although he had other names, including Amun, Amon-Ra (the sun god) and Amen. And they say that this particular demon is allegedly one of the fathers of billions of people living in the Middle East.
Abilities
Amon is the seventh of the spirits of Lemegeton (the Lesser Key of Solomon). According to the description, he is endowed with tremendous power and great power. He is able to open the veil of secrecy over the past and future. According to later magical treatises such as the Grand Grimoire, written in the 17th century, this demon is also able to sow enmity between friends. What has its own positive side, as this allows you to resolve any sensitive situation. Well, reconciliation will then depend only on the warring parties themselves.
Manifestation
One of the most famous manifestations of demons in history occurred in 1630. Then several demons allegedly captured sister Jeanne de Ange and several other ursuline nuns in Ludun. These ladies (or the "creatures" sitting in them?) Vowed that Father Grande had done this by throwing a bouquet of roses over the monastery wall with the right words. An exorcism session soon took place. During it, one of the spirits called himself Aman (Amand, Aman) and recognized himself as descending from the heavenly authorities. Apparently, this demon can be identified with Amon.
As for the whole incident, the torment of the abbess and sisters became the occasion not only for a long debate about the veracity of what happened, but also for the burning of Father Grandier at the stake, as well as the creation by Aldous Huxley of the book “Devil Ludun” (1952). The main question that pervades her is: can a person from a theological point of view be recognized as a sorcerer and sacrificed because of his mistakes in politics ?! But, alas, we most likely will not get a true answer. Good luck!
