With penetration of store shelves (and at the same time into our lives) of previously non-existent ingredients, canned corn salads became very popular . Recipes, one might say, multiply every day, and the culinary fantasies for the most part are very successful. With what only cooks do not combine this seemingly straightforward ingredient! Modest salad
Completely "pass-through" components can give an incredibly amazing result! The offered salad with canned corn (lean) contains only three main ingredients: corn, onion and oil proper. And the taste is delicious! True, to obtain it, four onions, chopped as small as possible, must be blanched: in a colander for ten seconds, put in slightly salted boiling water. In order not to lose the benefit of the onion and preserve its crispness, it should be immediately doused with ice water after removing it from boiling water. Marinade is poured from a can of corn, grains are passed through a meat grinder, mixed with onions, mixed with the addition of vegetable oil, salt with pepper and herbs - and serve as an excellent addition to the main dishes.
"Mushroom delicacy"
To prepare such a salad with canned corn (lean), you will need more components and invested labor. A pair of tomatoes is washed, cut into halves, the bulk of the pulp is taken out of them. A little green beans (four spoons) are boiled, cut into cubes - together with pickled mushrooms, seized tomato pulp and half of bell pepper. All this is mixed with a couple of spoons of canned corn and a similar number of rings of olives. Everything is seasoned with their oil, salted and pepper, and tomato halves are filled with salad. "Mazurka"
Why it got such a name is unknown, but this salad with canned corn - lean - is popular under that name. It is prepared in an elementary way: two medium-sized salted (can be pickled) cucumbers and a couple of sweet peppers are cut into cubes, half a glass of nuts are chopped into not too small crumbs, red beans and corn are added (in a jar) plus a couple of chopped garlic cloves, chopped parsley with cilantro, salt, pepper and vegetable oil. Eats up faster than described!
Holiday salad
Another extremely successful salad with canned corn is lean, but appropriate on short days. In the end, the same vinaigrette is also prepared by non-fasting people. Cut into small pieces of stem celery, tomatoes, fresh cucumbers, bell peppers. Chinese cabbage and parsley are shredded. All ingredients are to the taste of the hostess. Salad is seasoned with lemon juice, soy sauce and vegetable oil, and when served, sprinkled with crackers.
Simple and delicious
Rice goes well with canned corn. In such a "company" you can cook a side dish, and soup, and salad. Let us dwell on the snack recipe. To begin with, you will have to cook half a glass of friable, preferably with long grains, rice and well traced it from the broth.
