Parents give life to the baby, then take care of its development. But there comes a time when the child turns into an adult, and the influence on his fate from the mother and father is significantly reduced. This is inevitable, otherwise it is impossible, because the parents are not eternal, and life is long.

More often, the son leaves his home, going to serve in the army, get an education or work somewhere very far away. And mother and father, realizing the inevitability of such an event, are still worried about how he will have a destiny, what kind of people he will meet, whether his decisions will be wise.
Despite the mature age of the children, parents try to support their son, help him, including financially. Not everyone understands how important spiritual support and God's help are. Once away from their home, the children continue to feel a spiritual connection with their parents. She will be strengthened by a prayer for her son, who will instruct him in moments of doubt and turn away the dangers in store.

Any appeal to the Almighty should be pronounced in compliance with several rules, the main of which is sincerity.
There are canonical texts, they are very good, they can be found in prayer books, but their reading requires some preliminary preparation. In modern schools, the Church Slavonic language is not taught, and the strongest prayer for the son, albeit read with all diligence, will not always be understood by the worshiper himself. Teaching wisdom cannot be forced to follow it; one can only hope that the lessons will be useful for the future. Giving freedom, it is impossible to answer for all errors, they will have to be corrected independently. Buying clothes and things that provide comfort and convenience, it is impossible to achieve that the inner world of those who wear them will become just as beautiful.
Prayer for the son contains a request to strengthen his strength, both bodily and spiritual, to heal from filth, to grant grace. It is equally important to protect him from evil and treacherous people, and, on the contrary, to send good and caring friends.
And, of course, one can and should pray for deliverance from vain, that is, accidental death and dangerous wounds.
The desire for labor to be successful is expressed in words about peace and harmony with neighbors, bosses and other people around.
Such a prayer on the way to the son, who goes to serve in the army, could be about this. The Russian soldiers, showing incomparable courage, never forgot that military successes are achieved with God's blessing. This has been the case for all ages, and these days are no exception.
