Oily skin gives its owners much more difficulties than dry skin. It requires constant daily care with carefully selected cosmetics. The main signs of oily-prone skin are an earthy complexion, an unpleasant greasy shine, enlarged pores, as well as acne and blackheads that appear when improper care is taken.
It is known that oily skin needs to be cleaned like no other. After all, if you do not remove fat clogging the pores from the surface of the skin in a timely manner, sebaceous plugs develop into acne and acne very quickly. Cleaning greasy skin must be carried out three times a day. For this purpose, it is best to use special antibacterial gels. The greatest effect is achieved when applying the gel with a special brush. Gently acting, it exfoliates keratinized cells, so that fat does not accumulate under the skin and does not lead to the manifestation of inflammatory processes. It should be washed with cool water, because hot, enhances sebaceous secretion. Gels for oily skin often include substances such as salicylic acid. Under its influence, oily skin is very well disinfected.
For deep skin cleansing, it is necessary to use a scrub. It contains abrasives (for example, crushed apricot kernels or polymer particles) that allow you to deeply clean pores. But such remedies cannot be used if there are acne on the skin. The same goes for peeling. It very well cleanses and dries oily skin, narrowing the pores, but if there are acne and sore spots, the use of peeling is dangerous. Peels and scrubs can be used no more than three times a week. A more active use makes the skin surface thinner, and thereby provokes enhanced secretion of the sebaceous glands.
Despite greasy, oily skin needs enough hydration. Therefore, you need to apply a special cream on it in the morning and evening. The cream should not be oily, preferably water-based. You can use light gels with extracts of aloe and tea tree.
It is better to use loose powder as a leveling decorative coating. Unlike creamy tonal foundations, it does not clog pores and absorbs excess fat. In addition, the powder well conceals greasy shine. You can apply the coating only with a clean powder puff, without rubbing it into the skin.
Several times a week you can pamper your skin with special masks. After their application, greasy skin remains matte for a long time, because masks for oily skin effectively remove dead skin particles and excess fat from its surface. The composition of such masks often includes: fruit acid, tea tree oil, tomato pulp, lemon juice and other components. A mask that improves the condition of oily skin can be prepared independently.
Tea mask. Mix a spoonful of powdered green tea with several tablespoons of kefir. Apply the resulting mixture to the skin of the face, and rinse off after a few minutes. Such a tool not only cleanses the skin, but also makes it more matte.
For those cases when there is a lot of acne on oily skin, you can use the following remedy: pour a spoonful of ground laundry soap with a little warm water. Drop a couple of drops of hydrogen peroxide and mix well. With this mixture you need to lubricate the face, leaving it for 10 minutes. After this period, rinse the mask with water.
With proper care, oily skin can become combined over time. And you will forever forget about greasy shine and black dots.
