Ruslan Yamadaev: biography
The Chechen conflict made it possible for many extraordinary personalities from both opposing sides to express themselves. Many of them are those who began to fight for the separation of the republic from the Russian Federation, and then, realizing the deadlock path of development of such a situation, went over to the side of the federal troops and took an active part in the fight against militants.
One of these people is Ruslan Yamadayev. He was elected to the State Duma from 2003 to 2007, was a member of the United Russia faction, the Committee for International Affairs and the Commission that monitors mandate issues and parliamentary ethics.
Yamadayev Ruslan Bekmirzaevich was born on December 10, 1961 in the city of Gudermes of the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. His family is included in the teip Benoy. Received higher education. He worked in the construction industry. He studied at the Institute of Management and Business of the Russian Academy of Public Administration.
Two younger brothers, whose names are Sulim and Dzhabrail, also wear the stars of Heroes of Russia on their chests.

In August 2002, he became the first deputy chairman of the political council and the head of the Chechen regional executive committee of United Russia.
June 21, 2003 Ruslan Yamadayev, whose photo quite often began to appear on the pages of the central and republican press, put forward his candidacy in the State Council of the Chechen Republic for the post of chairman, but Hussein Isaev passed him. Yamadayev was given 13 votes, Isaev - 17, with two abstentions members of the State Council of Chechnya.
When President Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov died , many Chechens wanted to see R. Yamadayev at the head of the republic, but the Kremlin advised him to run for president.
Confrontation with the Kadyrov clan
April 13, 2008, one of Kadyrov’s relatives in the central part of Gudermes was driving at high speed and, having lost control, had an accident in which two fighters from Vostok, a battalion under the patronage of Yamadayev, died.
The next day, following Gudermes along the Kavkaz road, Yamadayev’s motorcade rode towards Kadyrov’s motorcade. Standing in front of each other on the highway, each of them refused to give way.
After a couple of hours, Ramzan Kadyrov instructed to block the center of the Vostok’s deployment near Gudermes, where at that time there were about five hundred fighters. A total of about 25,000 fighters from the battalions of the "North", "South", republican OMON and SOBR, a regiment named after them, were pulled to this Vostok base. Fighters of the GRU battalion of the Russian Ministry of Defense "Vostok" were requested to voluntarily leave their place of deployment and to extradite their brother Yamadayev - Badrudi. Ruslan himself was at that time in Moscow. He commented on the incident as follows: the fault of his brothers is that they are independent of the Chechen president.
Kadyrov announced that the Yamadayev brothers were involved in certain crimes and demanded that they be prosecuted.
The Chechen prosecutor’s office in relation to the two younger brothers of Ruslan Yamadayev launched an investigation in criminal cases in connection with a suspicion of involvement of the Yamadayev brothers in the kidnapping and the facts of the killings.
The murder of Ruslan Yamadayev
09/24/2008 in the evening at about a quarter of six near the house located at 10, Smolenskaya Naberezhnaya, Moscow , there was an incident using firearms. It is noteworthy that not far from this place there is a government complex of buildings, that is, this area should have been well guarded and patrolled.
Yamadayev Ruslan was in a Mercedes, which stood in front of a red traffic light. A BMW 525 car stopped nearby, a man jumped out of it with a Stechkin automatic pistol, on whose trunk a silencer was screwed.
The man shot several times through an unclosed window at Yamadayev’s car. There were about twenty shots in total. Ruslan Yamadayev was killed immediately. Next to him was traveling S. Kizyun, who had previously served as commandant of the Chechen Republic, a retired colonel. He was seriously injured.

The investigation established the persons who are the perpetrators of this murder. E. Hatsuev was driving a BMW 525 car, shots were fired by Aslanbek Hatsuev.
The Yamadayev family conducted its investigation, which concluded that the order for the murder could come from Adam Delimkhanov and Ramzan Kadyrov. They may have been implicated in the assassination attempt on Sulim Yamadayev.

The younger brother of Badrudi Yamadayev
The media have information that the younger brother of Ruslan Yamadayev - Badrudi, was convicted in November 2001 of the fact that he used firearms in the premises of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance.
He fired a pistol in the office of the deputy sanitary chief physician of Moscow A. Melnikov. The latter was injured and remained forever in a wheelchair.
The reason, according to the investigation, is the fact that Alexander Melnikov planned to place sanitary and epidemiological surveillance in the South-Western district of Moscow in a room that was leased by structures close to Yamadayev.
About the son of Ruslan Yamadayev
The son of Ruslan Yamadayev - Said, is currently in the Mozhaisk pre-trial detention center. He is suspected of involvement in armed robbery.
