How are things in other countries?
Each year, about 35 thousand Turkish Muslims become Christians. In Malaysia, approximately 100 thousand people have changed their faith. In Indonesia, about 10 thousand people become Christians every year. In this country, transitions from one denomination to another are permitted, but disputes around this phenomenon are still underway. In Yemen, the massive outflow of Muslims to other faiths is strongly condemned. Therefore, converts Christians hold joint prayers in strict secrecy in the homes of foreigners. Because if anyone finds out that a Muslim woman has converted to Christianity, she will certainly be executed. The same applies to young people who violate Sharia.
Is this normal?
Each country has its own understanding of the norm. Somewhere the change of faith is punishable by death, somewhere this is treated loyally. Therefore, there is no universal answer. At the same time, the number of Christians who convert to Islam is growing. Moreover, among them there are prominent scientists, athletes and public figures.
