1. Those who are married should be well aware that church marriage is intended once and for a lifetime.
2. It is believed that the new life that comes after the wedding involves a complete cleansing from sins and an inner renewal of the human soul, therefore, before the sacrament, both partake and confess during the liturgy.
3. Young fast for three days before the sacrament. It is advisable not to have sex (and masturbation) during fasting, to think only about the spiritual.
4. The bride should have a special wedding dress prepared (special tailoring that does not expose her back, shoulders and arms to the elbows). In addition, it should not be bright, red and dark. The bride cannot hide her face, because she is open before God and her beloved. The groom's outfit is the same as at the wedding.
5. There is a special wedding calendar. It calculated the days by which, according to church rules, the sacraments of weddings are held. The days are indicated on which in no case can this be done.
6. The time taken for this procedure usually does not exceed forty minutes. This should be borne in mind by everyone who is going to invite friends and relatives to the sacrament.
