Kudryavtseva Tatyana has been engaged in decorative decoration of household items in the One Stroke technique for two decades, which is distinguished by a special two-color brushstroke. To create a picture, a flat brush is used, on which two paints are applied simultaneously. With its continuous movement along the canvas, a unique three-dimensional pattern is formed.
The origins of the craft
The emergence of the two-color brushstroke technique dates from the second half of the 18th century, when fashion for varnished products came from China to Russia. In those days, Nizhny Tagil actively developed metallurgy, which contributed to the concentration of many craftsmen in the city. Among them there were also those who painted various household items. The impetus for the development of fishing is considered to be the creation of the flywheel school by the famous industrialist Nikita Demidov. The highlight of Tagil painting was considered to be three flowers located in the very center of the composition, which were called rosan.
Followers of the Craft
Strange as it may seem, the half-forgotten primordially Russian technique of a two-color brushstroke found its second life thanks to the American artist Donna Dewberry. It was she who, together with Plaid, organized a project that allowed this craft to gain worldwide fame, which ensured its further mass distribution. Of the most striking Russian followers of decorative painting today is Tatiana Kudryavtseva. Over the years of many years of creative pursuit, she developed her own drawing style, which is successfully sold at world exhibitions under the Tagil Painting brand.
Decorative painting in a modern interpretation
The application of the One Stroke technique is quite widespread, but if before it was mainly used to decorate dishes and various wood products, now it also makes unique modern gadgets, home decoration, jewelry and leather products. There is another distinctive feature of the performance of decorative painting in our millennium - the use of acrylic, since in the XVIII century, patterns were painted only with oil paints. New materials, of course, expand the possibilities of the craft, allowing you to apply the pattern where the artist wishes. Tatyana Kudryavtseva with her numerous works on decorating glass, canvases, interiors only confirms that today unique folk craft has no borders.
Becoming an artist
Realizing a childhood dream, Tatyana Kudryavtseva after graduating from school receives a professional education in the specialty "arts and crafts and folk crafts". Subsequently, she gets a job at the enterprise, where they paint trays. However, streaming drawing according to a strictly specified pattern does not satisfy the wizard's need for self-realization. Soon Kudryavtseva Tatyana finds herself in teaching Russian painting to students of the art lyceum. She has been working in this field for more than ten years, developing her imagination and honing her skills.
Entering new horizons
The development of a market economy makes its own adjustments to the fate of a talented artist. Having exhausted the capabilities of his native Volgodonsk, Tatyana and her husband move to Moscow, where they jointly organize courses on teaching the technique of two-color smear. The master is increasingly taking part in exhibitions of applied art, both Russian and international. Gradually, her works began to be published in specialized publications, Italian decoupage cards were issued based on drawings , and the artist's website was full of admiring reviews.
