Preparing for the holiday: mimosa salad with apple

All kinds of salads have long been an indispensable attribute of a feast. They make the table diverse and allow the table owners to show their skills and imagination. One of the traditional, in addition to olivier and vinaigrette, has long been considered a mimosa salad, which got its name due to the original look, similar to this spring flower. There are a huge number of options for this dish, among which one of the most delicious and original recipes is a mimosa salad with an apple.

To prepare it, you will need a can of canned fish (it should be in oil, you can take saury, sardine, tuna and others), several eggs, onions (it is better to take white, ideal for salads, since it does not have strong bitterness), carrots, several medium-sized potato, apple, mayonnaise. Before you prepare a mimosa salad with an apple, you should take care of the ingredients. Eggs are boiled, divided into yolks and squirrels, the first crumble, and the second are crushed (you can well knead them with a fork). Potatoes and carrots are boiled and rubbed on a coarse grater. The peel is removed from the apple, after which it is rubbed on a fine grater or crushed by a blender. The fish is taken from canned food, the bones are removed (if any), and the fillet is well kneaded with a fork. Next, layers are laid out on a wide flat dish, each of which is carefully smeared with mayonnaise.

The alternating ingredients will be as follows. Fish is laid out on the apple, then potatoes, onions, carrots and egg white. From above everything is sprinkled with yolk, it is not worth smearing it with mayonnaise. For decoration, you can use sprigs of dill and green onions.

I must say that the mimosa salad with tuna has a more delicate taste, especially if it is prepared according to a recipe that is considered almost classic. He will need a can of tinned tuna, 5 eggs, cheese (hard variety, preferably Parmesan), half a packet of butter, onion and herbs. Oil is put in the freezer for several hours, after which it is rubbed on a grater. Boiled eggs are crushed (yolks and proteins separately). Onions finely chopped, cheese rubs, and tuna kneads. After that, lettuce layers are laid out. The first will be the egg whites on which the butter is laid out. The next layer will be cheese, after which fish and onions are put. Above the salad is abundantly greased with mayonnaise, on which the yolks are laid out. Before serving, it is best to let the dish stand for a while in the refrigerator.

Mimosa salad with apple and rice will be original in preparation and to taste. For this, 100 grams of rice is boiled (it is better to take steamed, it turns out quite friable). Layers of lettuce are spread on the prepared dish, which are smeared with mayonnaise. Initially, it will be canned fish in oil, chopped with a fork. Chopped onions are placed on it, here you can take both onions, adding a spoonful of lemon juice, and green, which will make the taste of the salad more tender. Cooked rice is laid out on top. To make its taste more saturated, a spoonful of soy sauce is added here. Next will follow the grated apple. It is better to take a sweet and sour variety, for better compatibility to taste with rice. After that, crushed proteins are laid out, and the salad is completely sprinkled with yolks. Such a mimosa salad with an apple has an interesting taste that lovers of unusual flavor combinations will like very much.

Before the dish is served on the table, it should stand for some time in the refrigerator - so that the layers are saturated with each other. There is not much time spent on preparing this salad, which may be why it is one of the most beloved. I must say that it is difficult to find a salad that is simpler and more delicious than mimosa. The recipe with an apple, moreover, is quite original, and such a dish will be a worthy decoration of a festive table.
