At the end of the last century, the so-called “Chinese” salad was a rather outlandish product for both Russia and Europe. Peking cabbage came, as a rule, directly from the Middle Kingdom (it has been cultivated there since the VI century). Today it can be purchased at any supermarket, and instant salad in its various manifestations is well prepared from such an inexpensive and healthy product. The article presents only a few of the most popular options for this quick dish.

Instant cabbage salad with apple

This is an interesting, healthy dish that can be prepared year-round. For him we take: one head of Peking, one cucumber, a jar of canned corn, several apples of sweet and sour varieties, grams of 150-200 hard cheese (any). To season this instant salad we use: a spoonful of French mustard, the same amount of olive oil and apple vinegar, half a glass of mayonnaise of 30% fat content.

Cooking fast!

  1. The washed cabbage leaves are cut into strips, placed in a large container, adding cucumber and apples cut into strips.
  2. We discard the corn in a colander so that excess fluid is gone. Add to the bowl with the previous ingredients.
  3. Rub cheese finely. Add to the total mass and mix thoroughly.
  4. Making a dressing: combine mustard and vinegar with oil and mayonnaise sauce. Mix everything and fill in the salad. Add to taste.
  5. Now the instant salad needs to be set aside for half an hour in the refrigerator. Boiled rice, light chicken chop, vegetable juices are perfect for the dish.

Instant Crab Salad with Crab

Well, of course, we will not use real crab meat, but everyone’s familiar and inexpensive sticks (200 grams). And also take a head of Beijing cabbage, a couple of hard-boiled eggs, medium-sized cucumber (fresh), salt with mayonnaise and herbs for dressing.

Instant Chinese cabbage salad with pineapple is cooked no less quickly. To prepare it, take a head of cabbage, a jar of pineapples in our own juice.

  1. We shred Peking and put it in a dish.
  2. Add pineapple there, having previously drained the liquid (do not pour it out!). If necessary, then cut the fruit into smaller pieces.
  3. Season the dish with juice from a can, mixing thoroughly. Serve chilled to the table. This instant salad perfectly complements grilled meat.

With ham

The recipe is impossibly simple, but the taste, be sure - is at its best. So, we take Beijing in the amount of one fork, 200 grams of good ham, 200 grams of canned green peas, a couple of cloves of garlic, not too greasy mayonnaise, salt. Fresh greens are used to decorate this dish.

  1. We cut cabbage (you can even tear it with your hands) rather large into pieces.
  2. Thinly chop the ham.
  3. We chop greens. Take any that is at hand: dill with parsley, cilantro, green onion.
  4. We combine all the components in a suitable bowl, add green peas, strained to a colander, crush a few cloves of garlic in a garlic.
  5. In the finale, season the appetizer with mayonnaise, mix thoroughly, if necessary, add a little salt to taste. Done - you can serve on the table.

Beijing plus bell peppers

For it we take the following ingredients: three sweet peppers, a head of cabbage, a couple of apples, a spoonful of olive oil, a little apple vinegar, spices and salt.
