It will certainly become one of your signature dishes due to the simplicity of preparation and incredible taste. And the name of this culinary masterpiece is the Tuscan plum pie.

Tuscan Cake

For cooking you will need:

  • plums (preferably large) - 20 pcs;
  • butter - 300 g;
  • chicken eggs - 6 pcs;
  • vanilla extract - 2 tsp;
  • granulated sugar - 300 g;
  • wheat flour - 250 g;
  • baking powder for dough - 3 tsp;
  • cow's milk - 250 ml.

First prepare the plums. In order to make plum pie according to this recipe, the fruits are best cut into four parts.

Then take the mold in which you will bake the cake later. Its optimum diameter is 25 cm. It needs to be prepared in advance for further actions - for this it is advisable to grease it with butter (a little), which must be melted in advance, and then lightly sprinkle with cooked sugar.

Now is the time to start preparing the dough for the pie. It is done very simply. You need to take eggs, sugar and vanilla. The listed ingredients must be placed in one dish and beat until a foam is formed, which has a rather thick consistency. In the mass you need to add flour, which it is advisable to sift in advance, and then the baking powder for the dough, milk and other ingredients as you wish. They can be hazelnuts, lemon peel and other components. Then you should add butter to everything and beat again, but only now at a low speed. After that, we can assume that the dough for the pie is ready. It must be poured into a prepared baking dish, lay plums on top of it and baked in this form in the oven. The optimum temperature is about 180 degrees.

As soon as the cake is baked, it needs to be taken out of the oven, cooled and served cold on the table.

And finally, I would like to introduce you to another recipe for making plum pie. It is very easy to prepare, and the technology of its creation is available even to novice hostesses who do not know the special subtleties of culinary art.

Plum pie changeling

For cooking you will need:

  • plums - 500 g (about 20-22 pieces);
  • granulated sugar - 2 glasses;
  • wheat flour - 1 cup;
  • butter - 200 g;
  • chicken eggs - 2 pieces;
  • milk - 0.5 cups;
  • baking powder for dough - 2 teaspoons;
  • vanillin.

Such a plum pie is cooked almost in the same way as the one whose recipe is given just above, but there are still some differences. So, let's take a closer look at the technology for making this dessert.

Making the pie should start with kneading the dough. To do this, you need butter (you should take almost everything - leave a very small piece in order to grease them with a baking dish), 3/4 cup sugar, vanilla and, of course, a baking powder for dough. The listed ingredients must be mixed into a homogeneous mass, after which it is time to stir in the flour. This should be done as carefully as possible so that lumps do not form. As soon as the flour is in the previously prepared mixture, it's time to add milk and eggs to the general set of ingredients. Now you need to mix the resulting mass as thoroughly as possible. It is best to do this with a mixer, but without setting a maximum speed. After this step is completed, the dough can be considered ready.

Now is the time to start preparing the sinks - the processing technology is quite simple - each drain is thoroughly washed under running water and cut in half. From each fetus it is necessary to take out a bone.

Now you can start baking a flip-flop pie. This process is best done in a special form. At its bottom you need to pour the butter pre-melted over the fire, add caramel made from the remaining sugar into it, and then put the halves of the drain with cuts down. After that, on top of the drain, you need to lay out the cooked dough with maximum accuracy and send it to the oven for 25-40 minutes at a temperature of about 180 degrees. After this, you need to get the finished cake, let it cool, and then serve, of course, inverted.
