Pistachios: calorie content and beneficial properties

One of the most expensive, but at the same time the most healthy nuts are pistachios. Initially, they were grown in Syria and Iran, and then in Greece, Turkey, Spain and other European countries, as well as in the USA. Harvest time is late July and early August. Nuts undergo minimal processing and thereby retain their beneficial properties. First, they are dried in the sun, and then, as a rule, soaked in saline and fried. This product has many useful properties.

Perhaps the most harmonious nuts that optimally combine nutritional properties with vitamins, mineral salts, amino acids - these are pistachios.

The calorie content of nuts depending on the species is 450-570, so they are so nutritious and so quickly saturate. They have an excellent tonic effect, very useful for people suffering from chronic fatigue.

The high content of vitamin E makes these nuts an excellent antioxidant that can have a rejuvenating effect on the human body. Eating them promotes cell renewal. The ancient Persians knew about these properties, who considered nuts to be magic.

Lutein โ€“ carotenoids and zeaxanthin (very useful for strengthening bone tissue) are not found in other nuts. These substances contain only pistachios.

Calorie content just seems so awesome. If you adhere to the principle of rationality and do not absorb nuts in unlimited quantities, then it is impossible to recover from them. For example, if you eat 25 fried grains, you will get only 85 calories, and this is not so much.

You can eat fresh, fried, salted pistachios. The calorie content of the products that make up these nuts varies quite significantly. They are present in confectionery and even some varieties of sausages and cheeses. For example, in pistachio sweets from 360 to 620 calories (depending on the variety), in cheese with honey and pistachios - about 360.

However, despite these figures, nutritionists are not advised to exclude pistachios from the diet. Their caloric content does not contribute to weight gain and does not harm the figure at all. To prove this statement, American scientists conducted experiments that showed that even with a sufficiently high content of these nuts in the diet, it is possible to achieve the cherished goal of gaining a slim figure.

The secret lies in the extremely high fiber content in these nuts and in the fact that calories are only partially absorbed by our body. In terms of fiber content, these nuts are leaders: about 20 nuts by the amount of this component can replace a portion of oatmeal. The product itself contains substances that block its absorption. At the same time, passing through the intestines, they are able to have a cleansing effect, relieving it of harmful deposits and toxins.

Nuts have a very high tannin content. In large quantities, vitamins of group B are present in them.

Quite often, these nuts are included in the diet of sick people to maintain their vitality. In this case, only salted pistachios are not used, since excessive salt content cannot be called useful.

Pistachios are able to beneficially affect the liver, restoring its impaired function. They clean the bile ducts well and relieve colic. Nuts are also useful in the treatment of hepatitis, anemia. Their use very well affects the work of the heart, the strength of blood vessels. They are recommended for people with respiratory problems.

It is very curious that pistachios (calories in this case already cease to play a big role) are also a natural aphrodisiac and have a good effect on men's health.

The optimal daily allowance for regular consumption of these nuts is the number of not more than 10-15 kernels. This will provide the body with useful substances, and you do not have to think about how many calories are in pistachios, since there are very few of them in such a quantity.
