Sergey Neverov was born on December 21, 1961. The place of his birth was the city of Tashtagol, which is located in the Kemerovo region. In his youth, Sergey was a professional athlete. From the age of fifteen, he went to competitions as part of the national team in luge. But this type of activity in adult life did not become the main one for him, since Neverov connected it with politics.
Education and the beginning of work
Sergei Neverov, whose biography began in the land of miners, chose the path that millions of his countrymen followed. After school, he became a student at the Mining and Metallurgical College in Tashtagol, which he graduated in 1981 with a diploma in mining electrical mechanics.
In the same year, the young man was drafted into the army. He had a chance to serve in Novosibirsk. Upon returning to a civilian, Neverov did not stay in his native Tashtagol, having moved to Novokuznetsk. It was here that the career path of the future vice speaker began. The first place of work was the Esaulskaya mine, where Sergey worked as an underground electrician. At the same time he studied at the "evening" of the Siberian Metallurgical Institute, mastering the specialty in qualification "mining engineer". Neverov graduated from this educational institution in 1989, and much later - in 2000 - he received another diploma - this time a lawyer, becoming a graduate of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations.
Social Activities of the Future Politician
Already in his youth, the future famous politician was distinguished by an active civic stance, as evidenced by his boisterous social activities in Novokuznetsk. The end of the eighties was marked for the surviving last years of the Soviet Union by the mass strikes of miners. They went on strike in the Kuzbass. And Sergey Neverov took an active part in this.
In 1991, together with his associates, he oversaw the process of corporatizing the Esaulskaya mine, developing the foundations of a collective agreement and addressing issues related to labor protection. Around the same time, he was elected head of the region's united unions. He also replaced the chairman of the presidium of the Kuzbass coal unions and the head of the independent coal industry workers' union of Russia. Sergey Ivanovich performed this work on a voluntary basis.
According to him, in 1995, he, along with the miners of Kuzbass, during the next strike pounded his helmet on the Humpback Bridge in Moscow.
Neverov - politician
Such an active public activity said that Neverov wants to influence the life of the country and participate in its management. He had a direct road to the deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

As a deputy in the parliament of the third convocation, Sergei Ivanovich dealt with issues of social policy, interaction with trade unions, etc. In general, with everything that was close to him. Almost at the very end of his powers, Neverov changed the “People’s Deputy” faction, which he had previously been, to “Fatherland-United Russia”. In September 2011, Vladimir Putin recommended Sergei Ivanovich to the post of Secretary of the Presidium of the General Council of United Russia, and the candidacy was approved. Sergey Neverov has been passionate about sports since childhood. She enjoys skiing, playing hockey or tennis. He is also a big fan of the mountains and has a personal record - a conquered height of seven thousand meters in the Andes. But in the Himalayas at an altitude of six thousand meters above sea level, the patriot of his land, along with his comrades, hoisted the Kuzbass banner and a fragment of coal mined at one of its mines on Kilimanjaro.
A family
Politician Sergei Neverov is married to his peer Olga Neverova. According to the politician himself, the spouse earns better than he, working as the executive director of the enterprise (which one is not advertised). That a wife earns more than her husband can also be seen in their tax returns. The couple has two children - daughter, born in 1998, Angelina and son, born in 2003, Gleb. Also, information leaked to the media that the Neverovs adopted another child. This has not been officially confirmed.
