What is a society without an economy and vice versa? It is hard to imagine without clear definitions. How tightly connected are society and the economy? Let's figure it out.
Social is what?
All kinds of study guides give roughly similar definitions for this term. The society is a kind of coherent community of people, some kind of group. Whether it's a state or a chemistry school.
A group of people connected by some common sign will invariably be a society or a social group. In that case, of course, when it comes to the general meaning of the term.
If we talk about society as a whole, then its value is almost equal to the concept of society. And when the discussion concerns social cultures, it is acceptable to use these definitions as synonyms with the difference that the concept of “society” is closer to the legal sciences and disciplines, and “society” is closer to social.
General characteristics that make it possible to call a group of people a society from the point of view of social cultures and disciplines:
- The total area of residence. Society inseparably exists together. It can be a state or a family.
- The activities of the members of society are general in nature, and they are busy for the benefit of one idea.
- As a consequence of the previous paragraph, in society there is a place to be the distribution of labor between members of society.
From the main characteristics, it becomes clear that the state and the family are most suitable for the definition of society. In fact, the term itself is used in a broader sense. However, the definition in itself carries just that.

Economy
Definitions of teaching aids can be interpreted approximately the same. The economy is a system that works for the benefit of man, the action of which is aimed at the effective use, use and production of any material goods.
That is, from this one can judge that without society as a whole, the entire economic system loses its meaning of existence in general. And without an economic system, the coherent life of society is impossible.
The economy and the economic system itself has much more definitions, but in any of its manifestations, the economy deals with the following issues:
- What needs to be made?
- For whom?
- How to do it more rationally?
- How much do you need to produce?
- Can positive changes be made?
Co-ordinated action
Despite the significant difference in definition, the general characteristics of society and the economy have. The point is not in the characteristics themselves, but in the destination.
The society is a subject and a resource for the economy and the economic system. At the same time, when the economy itself exists only for the good of society. From this it follows that society and the economy in any of its manifestations simply simply would not exist without each other.
In Russia
Due to the specific nature of the Russian mentality, the society and economy of Russia are slightly different from the world. Nevertheless, the general concept remains unchanged with the only difference being that the Russian mentality understands the necessity and dependence of the two integral systems on each other a little differently. Society and economy for the average Russian citizen work as if for each other.
In Russia, society and the economy are two fundamental systems that work “on each other,” when it is customary to interpret this symbiosis differently throughout the world. In world practice, systems work together seamlessly.
This explains the constant disturbances in the operation of the systems and errors. The economy should not "work" for the benefit of society, and vice versa. Two systems must function together. It is then that the real fair distribution of labor and resources will begin to be visually observed.
