Biography
Felix Tsarikati was born in the current capital of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Nalchik, on September 13, 1964. The mother and father of the future artist were not related to music, they were simple workers. Grandmother and grandfather of the performer possessed great musical talent. Grandmother was a soloist of the ensemble called "Kabardinka", she played the balalaika, guitar and accordion.
The boy was brought up in an atmosphere of music, and this type of art carried him along with him. The young man liked musical instruments much more than school. The songs of Muslim Magomayev were incredibly carried away by little Felix Tsarikati, so at the age of seven he decided to test his own musical talent. Even earlier, the boy independently learned to play the accordion.
While studying at school, the young man participated in amateur performances and he won prizes in creative competitions. By that time, Felix had mastered playing the guitar and accordion, so he performed with these musical instruments. In addition, the mother identified the boy in the children's choir chapel. Tsarikati by nationality of Ossetians, he spent his youth in the village of Ozrek.
Ossetians live here mainly, although Ozrek is located on Kabardian territory. The artist calls childhood the happiest time in life - with friends, a lake and nature of unearthly beauty.
After graduating from the ninth grade, a fifteen-year-old man who already dreamed of a stage, left for North Ossetia to continue his musical education, and ended up in the current city of Vladikavkaz.
In 1983, he studied at the vocal department at the art school. The next point of the biography was Moscow and admission to GITIS, he became a student, despite a competition of 120 applicants for a place.

Felix Tsarikati in 1991 was trained at GITIS at the faculty of musical theater actors. Soon he became a member of the vocal contest "Yalta-91", presented his debut album "Neputevy" and went on his first tour in his life, which took place in Ossetia. Such a success of the young man was earlier facilitated by his participation in the Jurmala contest.
