The Federal State Higher Educational Institution of Ural State Agrarian University (formerly Ural State Agricultural Academy) last year turned seventy-five years old. This is far from the only university that has "settled" far from the capitals in the post-revolutionary decades: almost in every large regional or regional city polytechnic, medical, pedagogical institutes or their branches were created. In February of the pre-war 1940, the Institute was opened in the Urals - the future Agricultural Academy. Yekaterinburg became more and more a city of students.
