This happened not so long ago - in December 2009, on the night of the 9th. Within 15 minutes, the sky over the northern part of the country literally blazed. The Norwegian spiral anomaly, and then still an unidentified phenomenon, at first had the appearance of a blue cloud spiral like a tropical cyclone. Its elongated shape ended with a white tail.
