A wedding is one of the most important events in a person’s life. Guests are convened for a gala dinner dedicated to the creation of a new family. The bride and groom before the event solve many issues, one of which is the preparation of the menu on the festive table. If young people do not want to make a modest buffet, but want to set a rich table, then the presence of salads on it is absolutely necessary.
Salads for the wedding: recipes with photos
Let's start with the most common recipes. Salads for the wedding should be diverse, as guests who prefer certain foods and have different tastes will gather to celebrate. Therefore, salads should be different: meat, fish, and vegetable, to please everyone gathered.
The type of dishes should also be festive and consistent with the theme of the event. It is advisable to decorate each salad, and it is easiest to do this using special cutting knives. The most convenient way to serve salads at a wedding is in portions so that you do not need to reach for a dish. It will look more dignified and will not cause inconvenience to guests.
Salad "Matchmakers"
Not everyone likes salads with mayonnaise, especially since the banquet is likely to have a lot of fatty and high-calorie foods, so many guests will like the light and simple salad for the wedding.
Prepare:
- the flesh of a loaf;
- white chicken meat;
- Parmesan;
- salad onions;
- Cucumber
- lemon juice;
- sunflower or olive oil;
- lettuce leaves.
Bread (without crust) should be cut into cubes, fried in a frying pan without oil or with a minimal amount until they become rosy. The fillet can be cut or just torn by hand. Cucumber must be cut into strips and rub the parmesan. Onions should be cut in half rings, and just tear the salad with your hands. If you cut the salad with a knife, it will begin to oxidize, but you do not need it. Refuel by mixing oil, juice, salt and pepper. Stir in the salad. Put croutons on top. It is better to cook this salad for the wedding just before serving it, otherwise the crackers will get wet and the cucumber will give water.
Salad "My fish"
A great option for a banquet is a salad of red fish (preferably salmon) and crab sticks, very tender, with sour cream dressing and cottage cheese, which will become the king of the table. So, cook hard-boiled eggs and rice in advance so that it can cool. Take a large dish, the bottom of which is covered with cling film. We spread neatly sliced fish on it. Put tight so that there are no gaps. Next come the yolks, previously crushed with a coarse grater. Lubricate a layer of yolks with sauce. How to cook it? We mix mayonnaise, sour cream and cottage cheese in equal proportions. Add a little dissolved gelatin to keep the sauce in shape.

The next layer is crab sticks or crab meat and again the sauce. They are followed by a layer of grated proteins, sauce and at the end - rice. Smear the rest of the sauce on the surface of the rice. Place the salad in the refrigerator for at least six hours so that it is saturated and the sauce sets. Then just flip and peel off the cling film. Decorate according to your imagination and skill.
Salad "Good mother-in-law"
A kilogram of squid should be cleaned of film and viscera and boiled for no more than three minutes. Chop the onions in half rings and fry in sunflower oil. Pineapples canned in sugar syrup should be removed and allowed to drain. If they are rings, then it is better to cut, and if sliced, then leave as is. Next are the champignons. If they are fresh, then it is better to fry them with onions, and if pickled, then simply cut. All must be mixed and seasoned with mayonnaise. Do not forget to salt.
Salad "Capricious Bride"
First you need to boil the beef and beef tongue, cut everything into strips. Smoked chicken fillet and smoked sausage should be cut in the same way. Chop the onion in half rings and fry in oil. Mushrooms (champignons or ceps) are cut and added to the onion. Now you need to mix everything, add French mustard and mayonnaise.
Salad "Rich father in law"
This salad not only looks spectacular, but also impress guests with its composition. It is advisable to do it portionwise. To achieve greater originality, replace glasses or salad bowls with a cheese basket or a boat carved from avocado peel. Boil the medium-sized shrimp or fry in an almost dry pan. Add diced avocado, a little boiled rice, not coarsely chopped sweet pepper. Dressing with curd cheese and mayonnaise sauce with the addition of gelatin. We lay out everything in boats and add red caviar on top.
Enviable Groom Salad
We need a kilogram of chicken, a can of canned champignons, half onions, corn in a can, canned pineapple (you can also fresh), hard cheese and mayonnaise. This is a layered salad, so it will look especially good in individual salad vases or wide glasses.
First, spread the boiled chicken, cut into small pieces. In oil, fry the mushrooms with onions and spread on top of the chicken. We coat this layer with mayonnaise. Next comes the corn. We put finely chopped pineapples on it and again cover everything with mayonnaise. Top layer is grated cheese. We recommend rubbing it on a fine grater, so it will give airiness to a delicious salad for a wedding. Let it brew for several hours before serving.
Salad "Golden mother in law"
Recipes for delicious wedding salads are always popular. Let's consider one more. To prepare this salad, we need:
- two chicken breasts;
- two hundred grams of fresh strawberries;
- fresh salad;
- one avocado;
- one small red onion;
- chili red and green;
- garlic;
- lemon;
- almonds about one hundred grams;
- mayonnaise;
- poppy;
- two tablespoons of honey;
- seasoning for chicken;
- greenery;
- two celery.
First you need to cook the chicken. We take two breasts, sprinkle with salt and spices to taste. For piquancy, you can add chili. Cut the pepper and take out the seeds, finely chop. Put the breasts in a mold, sprinkle with chili, add a little oil and leave to marinate. Let's prepare the avocado for now. Avocado slices should not be very small. Grilled marinated chicken for about eight minutes on each side. We do not chop strawberries finely, enough in half, if not very large.
While the chicken is fried, cut the onions into very thin half rings. Cool the finished chicken. Fry a little nuts or dry. In the meantime, let's get garlic. We cut it finely. It is better not to use a crush, since garlic is oxidized, and the taste will be too saturated. Now add the celery and herbs. Finely chop the basil and green onions and add to the salad. During this time, the chicken has cooled, and you can cut it.
Sauce: mix mayonnaise with poppy seeds, add one and a half tablespoons of honey, lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Mix gently.
Now you can mix the salad and sauce. We spread everything on a lettuce leaf, decorate with strawberries and herbs.
Whatever the wedding, rich or modest, salads on the festive table will always find a place. The main thing is not to resort to simple salad recipes for a wedding, but to look for something new and original.
