So, you need to first drain the water, then carefully dry the surface, and then close the crack with a special sealant. But with the bowl, the situation is more serious if a crack has formed in it, for any reason, it will have to be replaced, because there are no repair options.
Water tank overflow
Often the cause of the leak lies in the fact that the float in the toilet bowl leaks water.
Excess fluid is discharged over the edge of the tank. Perhaps the point is the lever of the float, which is slightly moved or skewed. It is necessary to inspect the float, and for this, remove the cover. Its optimal position is 2.5 cm below the nozzle. When the float is deformed, it will not function properly, because water will get into it. Sealant is suitable for sealing a crack in the float, but for this, the element must be pulled out and dried well. Again, the sealant is not a way out, but only a temporary solution, so you will have to buy new accessories.
If the element has no defects, but the water is still poured, then it may be in its pressure. With its high power, the float is pressed by water, which gives it an outlet over the edge. But if a stabilizing valve is provided in the design, a similar problem will not arise.
Constant flow of water into the bowl
Another type of problem when the toilet bowl is leaking water into the toilet is associated with another - when you have to press a button several times to flush. In this case, a malfunction occurs in the membrane. It must be washed with water to remove possible salt deposits.
If this element is deformed and has cracks, then it must be replaced by proceeding as follows: at the bottom of the barrel, find the siphon nut and loosen it, then remove the siphon itself. After replacing the membrane, reinstall the siphon. You should choose a membrane that is identical to the former. When the siphon is removed, other parts must be checked for defects. Often polymer structures become cracked and oxides form on the metal. The drain button is broken
One of the reasons for the formation of a leak can be a digging on the tank. The return spring may weaken, which will cause jamming in the stem, which will cause a constantly open drain hatch. In this case, the fault can be eliminated by replacing the spring or the button itself.
Leak at the junction with the hose
If a leak has become noticeable where the tank connects to the plumbing flexible hose, then the first way to eliminate it will be to tighten the connecting nut. If the thread is loose, it can be sealed, but a torn thread or a broken hose will have to be completely replaced.

Insufficiently tightened nuts on them can cause a leak, but you don’t need to overdo it in this matter, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the ceramics.
Condensate
Often a wet spot appears under the tank due to the formation of condensation on its surface. This is due to the fact that there is a difference in the temperature of the air in the room and the temperature in the tank. This trouble can be eliminated by improving the air exchange in the room, as well as by using a two-level drain.
