One of the most famous women's groups in Russia was Ranetki. The peak of their popularity was in 2008-2010. Throughout their existence, they held several recitals at major venues in Moscow, received several awards and successfully starred in the eponymous series, which made them stars. A few years ago, the group broke up, however, as its composition claims, Ranetki continues to exist legally.
Ranetki Group
The Russian musical group was formed under the leadership of Sergey Milnichenko in 2005. They are the winners of the Five Stars contest. In addition, they became the laureate of Eurosonic 2008. They were nominated in some nominations of Muz-TV, and in 2009 received two awards. They became famous thanks to the songs written for the series "Cadetism". But the girls won special love from the audience by acting in a television project called Ranetki. In 2008 and 2009, the group gave solo concerts in Luzhniki and in the Olympic.
Composition of the group
The first composition of "Ranetok" at the moment, almost no one knows. Initially, the group consisted of:
- Alina Petrova (bass);
- Elena Halperina (vocals);
- Natalya Shchelkova, now Milnichenko (solo guitar);
- Anna Rudneva (rhythm guitar);
- Valery Kozlov (drums);
- Evgenia Ogurtsova (keyboards).
Natasha Shchelkova was born on April 6, 1990 in Moscow. She was engaged in figure skating as a child, however she quit sports because of music. A few years after the creation of Ranetok, she married the group's producer Sergei Milnichenko and gave birth to three children: two daughters and a son.
Anya Rudneva was born on January 11, 1990 in Moscow. She studied at one of the capital's schools, and also graduated from MGUKI.
Valeria Kozlova is the oldest member of the group. Her date of birth: January 22, 1988. Never professionally engaged in music, however, she was in the ensemble, where she was taught to sing and play the drum kit correctly.
Evgenia Ogurtsova was born in Moscow on March 29, 1990. She dreamed of being a surgeon in her childhood, but her musical abilities changed her life. Even in kindergarten age she was able to play basic melodies on the piano.
At the end of 2005, Alina left the group, in her place came Lena Tretyakova. Almost immediately Halperin also leaves Ranetki. The composition of the group did not change until the second half of 2008, when drummer Lera Kozlova decided to pursue a solo career . She was replaced by Anna (Nyuta) Baydavletova. One year before the breakup of the group, in 2011, another participant left - Anna Rudneva.
Former members
Alina Petrova left the first group. Unfortunately, there is practically no information about her. It is only known that she played the role of a bass player.
The second left Lena Halperina, which is also unknown. At the moment, there is only information that she was a vocalist.
A big tragedy for the fans was the departure of Lera Kozlova, as the change of the drummer took place just at the peak of the groupβs popularity. The true reason why the girl left the project is not known, but there is a version that there were love disagreements with the producer. After leaving, the girl began a solo career. After releasing several singles, in 2011 she announced that she was stopping activity. However, three years later he released a new song and in May 2015 joined the group 5sta Family.
In 2011, the composition is changing again. Ranetki and their fans are experiencing the loss of Anna Rudneva. Her departure caused a big scandal, since the producer for the first time lied that her absence was associated with pregnancy. But soon the girl herself denied this by writing a very unflattering comment in the direction of both the group and the producer separately. After leaving, Rudneva took up a solo career, releasing several singles. In addition to the music sphere, Anya successfully arranged her personal life. The girl is married for the second time, from her first marriage brings up her daughter Sofia. Currently, she and her husband are expecting the birth of a second child.
Decay
The changed composition of Ranetki was well received and the appearance of Nyuta was considered the beginning of a new era. Initially, the fans reacted poorly to the newly-minted participant, but soon reconciled. However, the popularity of the musical group, unfortunately, began to decline.
After Ani left, the group ceased to conduct active promotion and ceased to be interesting to the audience. They sadly played out their last performances.
Natasha, Nyuta, Zhenya and Lena - this is the last composition. "Ranetki" break up in 2011 and begin their solo projects.
