Nazarov Viktor Ivanovich - the second governor of the Omsk region. He took his post in May 2012. Since that time, he has done a lot for his field, for which he received the appreciation of people. However, despite the great popularity, information about him for a long time was outside the journalistic pen. And only recently, in an interview, Viktor Nazarov revealed all the secrets of his professional and personal life.
Adolescence
Viktor Ivanovich hails from the small village of Ingaly, Omsk Region. He was born on October 18, 1962 in a family of ordinary workers. However, his very childhood passed in the village of Mogilno-Poselskoye. There, the boy's parents moved in 1968, as his father was offered a more profitable place to work. Victor Nazarov admits that in his youth he was not much different from other peers. Like most Soviet guys, he first graduated from high school, then technical school, and then went to work as a lathe operator at the Electrotechnical Plant named after Karl Marx. The army of Viktor Ivanovich was called up to serve in 1980.
Of all the parts, Nazarov was lucky to get into the Marine Corps. Even today, the politician with a smile recalls the days when he, along with his comrades, plowed the vast expanses of the seas and oceans. Moreover, he was even lucky enough to attend the large-scale military exercises that took place in the Pacific Ocean. Upon returning home, Victor Nazarov entered Omsk State University. He dreamed of becoming a prosecutor, and therefore chose jurisprudence from all possible areas. Six years later, he successfully graduated from high school, after which he immediately set off to look for a new job.
Up the career ladder
Victor Nazarov built his career quite quickly. According to the governor, this was helped by an unbending will, a steel character and faith in one's own strength. For a fairly short period of time, he changed the following positions:
- Assistant prosecutor of the Omsk and Cherlak regions (1988-1990).
- Investigator in the military prosecutor's office (1990-1992).
- Lawyer consultant, collaborated with large companies in the region (1992-2003).
- Deputy Head of Division in Omsk Mezhregiongaz LLC (2003-2005).
- General Director of Omskregiongaz CJSC (2005-2012).
Deputy chair
At the end of 2011, elections to deputies of the Legislative Assembly were held in Omsk. Then voters for the first time saw the name “Victor Nazarov” in the ballot papers. The biography of the lawyer had many positive references, and therefore he easily went to the regional Duma. Here he got the place of deputy chairman of the committee on state property of the region.
If we talk about his merits in this post, the first thing to note is that the deputy made every effort to conduct gas in all the remote Omsk villages. Thanks to this, 8 out of 10 rural houses were finally able to connect to the regional gas supply.
Governor post
For the first time, Viktor Nazarov received the post of governor of Omsk thanks to the recommendation of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. This happened on April 3, 2012. A week later, the regional Duma also approved his candidacy. Looking ahead, we note that the politician also won the next governor election in September 2015.
At his post, Viktor Nazarov established himself as a responsible and prudent specialist. Under his watchful supervision, a smooth economic recovery took place, thanks to which the region was able to receive additional financing for its own development. The governor also established a special program for lending to small businesses, which allowed to diversify the scope of services and goods in Omsk.
Personal life
From an official interview it is known that Viktor Ivanovich is married and has two children. The eldest daughter lives separately, and the son still goes to school. The politician devotes all his free time to his family and small hobbies: he is interested in fishing, hiking and reading books.
