- Regular is the arrangement of familiar flowerbeds of various shapes, which are edged with, for example, brick. The main thing in this style decision is to strictly adhere to the strictness of form. As an additional decor, you can use a grass lawn or garden paths.
- The landscape direction is more creative, since roses can be planted in any combination and of any variety. Such a rose garden in the country (it’s very easy to create it with your own hands!) will look harmoniously next to a pond.
Where to place?
The place under the flower garden should be sunny, bright and protected from wind and rain. Rose is a whimsical plant that loves a combination of shade and sun. Before you make a rose garden with your own hands, pay attention to the features of the site: the flowers will grow well on sandy or drained loamy soil, but clay soil will need to be diluted with sand or peat mixes. As a rule, the rose garden is placed on the side of the site where the recreation area is equipped: a terrace, a veranda, a patio or just a gazebo.
Some tricks
It is quite simple to build a rose garden with your own hands, since the whole process comes down to just a few events. After the preparation of the ground, holes are dug up to a maximum depth of 60 cm, a bush is planted in the planting hole, the roots are sprinkled with a nutritious mixture, a hole is made around the handle, after which it must be watered. It is worth remembering the arrangement of roses: undersized should be planted in the foreground of the flower garden, and tall and curly ones in the background.
You can create compositions from a variety of varieties of roses: wild, creeping, garden, hybrid tea, curly, park and garden. In addition, you can emphasize using conifers (such as thuja or juniper) or tall perennials.
