Acquaintance with a foreigner, or dreams come true

I first thought about a foreign bridegroom when my friend, who had emigrated to Germany under the Jewish reparation program back in 2004, came to visit her safely abandoned homeland. Covered with European gloss, a well-groomed and very confident lady who stepped off the plane didnā€™t look much like the Natasha who was leaving there, so I kind of faded against her background (usually acting as a ā€œbeautiful girlfriendā€).

The second ā€œbellā€ rang when I came to her in Hamburg and realized that I also want to live in Europe. I understand that itā€™s good where we are not, but Iā€™m so tired of the dullness of our sleeping areas, of the dirt on the street and of the rudeness of people! In the end, I was tired of standing at stops waiting for municipal transport, wondering if a tram would arrive or not! I want to be able to change the car after 3 years of use, and not repair my own for 10 years in a row (it cost me 5 years of ā€œliving with the bankā€), I want to ride in normal, not spatched, elevators, in general, I want to be happy life as a respectable burgher!

Therefore, having arrived home, I did not begin to waste time in vain, but I began to actively search for marriage agencies that are aimed at international dating. Honestly, it took a lot of time - but I found Marriage Agency who arranged me with her contingent of grooms.

After 2 days I received the first letter from Switzerland, but the groom painted himself so vividly that the question immediately arose: ā€œWhy is he still walking in bachelors?ā€ But in order to recall his long-forgotten English ( and in the absence of the best offers), I entered into correspondence with him. When the "groom" did not want to switch to the Skype mode, my last doubts were dispelled - I fell for a lover of the epistolary genre, who were simply not interested in marriage. Then came a couple of letters, the authors of which were clearly not ā€œthe heroes of my novelā€, but for six months of active correspondence, I identified nine candidates for potential suitors who suit me in every way.

With them I switched to chatting on Skype. Of course, at first it was hellishly difficult, since English is not so hot for me. And then I had to make sure again that foreign dating no different from ours - everyone lies a bit, so the two men "dropped out" themselves (Iā€™m not offended by them - they judged me from a photograph of 5 years ago taken in one of the best periods of life), I refused three of them myself . Everything is deceiving on the Internet, but taking a few pounds a couple or a couple of years is one thing, but lying insolently is, excuse me, another. But four candidates came up to me. We could talk for hours, but I was eager to get married abroad, so I decided to force things a bit, and the marriage agency organized their arrival ā€œin my territoryā€, that is, to Moscow.

In principle, everything went fine. During this time, I was able to remember again that I am a woman, not an aunt, I heard a bunch of compliments in addition to luxurious bouquets, and most importantly, it turned out that I had a good knowledge of English over the past six months! But there were moments that I canā€™t remember now without laughter. So, one candidate appeared on a date in a shirt, ā€œHawaiianā€ and shorts! I understand, the height of summer, the heat, but still - you came "to the bride", so be worthy to look accordingly! I was "overdressed" as for a holiday, and as a result I went on as a tour guide in 9-cm heels all day, and besides, in the evening I was not allowed to go to a restaurant with such a gentleman, I had to be content with a small cafe. But Peter did not draw conclusions, so the next day he was waiting for me in a breathtaking panama, and I had to draw conclusions.

And with the second I was not so funny: after the royal dinner in one of the best restaurants in Moscow, he wanted to continue, but sex was not part of my plans, which offended Hank very much. The whole gloss of civilization literally flew off him instantly, and I instinctively felt that it was better not to joke with this man. It's good that we were in a crowded place, so I turned around and left, and in the morning (I was supposed to take him to the airport) the girls-administrators told me that he quickly found a replacement for me in the person of the local confused. On this acquaintance ended. I took him to the airport with a pure heart and safely forgot.

The next step was my return visit - to Canada (Toronto) and Austria (Salzburg). By this time, I liked both men very much, and I did not know who to choose. Both were positive in all respects, kind, sensitive, gentle ... In general, that woman who had to choose between two worthy candidates should understand me. I decided that the trip will dot all the ā€œi's,ā€ so I first went to Canada. Everything went fine there - Mark managed to make me a real fairy tale, reminiscent of a romantic film. But, unfortunately, I never felt the spark that ignites the hearts of people.

I flew to Salzburg with a heavy heart, because I understood that if I didnā€™t feel closeness and fire with Felix, I would have to choose again ... But as soon as he met me at the airport and said in Russian: ā€œHello!ā€, I realized that I would like to stay with him to live together in a big house, raise children and walk a dog, such a big dog. Probably Felix felt my mood, so he didnā€™t say any nonsense, but simply hugged and kissed for real, the first time for all our acquaintance. I never thought that I would like the ā€œking of diamondsā€, my passion was ā€œpeak suitsā€, and here I did not recognize myself. I didnā€™t care whether he married me or not, I forgot about my mercantile plans to settle abroad, I just wanted to be with him ...

And my dream came true, he made me an offer, and now we are engaged. In August, right after my birthday, we have a wedding, and now I, that is, we finish all paper affairs in Moscow and fly away to Salzburg forever, because there is a big house waiting for us, but it is empty, so we still have to give birth to children and buy a big dog ...
