Alexander Vilkul is one of the most resonant and promising characters in modern Ukrainian politics. His career is impressive in its scope and scale: active membership in non-ordinary posts, first in the ruling party, then (after the change of power) in the opposition, successful work as the head of huge industrial enterprises, as the head of one of the regional administrations, and even as deputy prime minister - Minister of the country.
From the history of recent elections
In the elections for the mayor of Dnepropetrovsk in October last year, Alexander Vilkul, the creator of the only truly systematic and comprehensive program for the development of the city, was supported by hundreds of thousands of residents familiar with his business qualities and the talent of a business executive, and, as the data of the independent company FOM- Ukraine ”, won in the first and second rounds.
The peculiarity of the new Ukrainian democracy lies in a special approach to the interpretation of civil liberties. Both in the gallant times of the Maidan and in the post-Maidan period, representatives of the current government are loyal to their power tactics and continue to show miracles of assertiveness and arrogance in the pursuit of goals. Simply put, once again, citizens have witnessed how the majority’s choice was crushed and a political decision was made to bypass the law. Despite the facts of falsification and bribery, the winner in the mayoral elections in Dnepropetrovsk was recognized as not really winning Alexander Vilkul, but his opponent, supported by Kiev.
In the name of peace in the city and the country, the politician refused to sue for the seat of the mayor of Dnepropetrovsk - a move that many saw as a manifestation of true patriotism.

A family
The mother of a politician is a non-public persona, official sources are always mentioned without specifics. Father is the current mayor of Krivoy Rog (which is still scandalously disputed by the “patriots” at the state level, who obviously decided to ruin the city), Yuri Grigoryevich Vilkul. The wife of Alexandra Vilkula, Elena Anatolyevna, an employee in the field of personnel management. There is a daughter Masha, 8 years old.
Compromising evidence
The details of the life of a public person always attract the active interest of journalists. Numerous journalistic investigations devoted to the topic “Alexander Yuryevich Vilkul: Biography” fill up the pages of his official biography with interesting facts. So, some authors focus on the ties of Alexander Yuryevich with Akhmetov and on his free lobbying for the interests of the oligarch. Others testify to the unprecedented scale of corruption schemes that allowed businessman Vilkul to squeeze out competitors in many market sectors and become a major monopolist in his homeland in Krivoy Rog, having completed not entirely legal and legal projects with the support of his father. Still others hint at the connection between the politician and criminals.
It is known that a talented person, if at the same time he is also successful, will certainly become the subject of envy and spitefulness. Therefore, you should not take everything on faith, especially if there is no evidence.
