If someone undertook to compile a rating of Russian politicians for their participation in scandalous projects, then the deputy of the State Duma of the 6th convocation Alexander Sidyakin would surely take one of the leading places in it. Perhaps not the first, but in the top ten, most likely, I would have gotten ... What is the mere fact that at the age of 29 this politician became a member of ... the party of pensioners. But first things first.
Sidyakin's childhood and youth
Sidyakin Alexander Gennadievich was born on November 17, 1977 in the small town of Segezha, in the Karelian Republic. His parents are ordinary people. Mom is a nurse, father is a factory worker.
The teenage years of the future deputy fell on the difficult nineties. It was very difficult for his family, like millions of others, to survive in those days. Perhaps this is precisely the moment that provoked young Alexander’s first thoughts about politics and the desire to change something in his country.
In general, as a child, he dreamed of becoming an astronaut ... But, after graduating from school with a silver medal, he entered the Tver State University as a lawyer.
The difficult financial situation forced the guy to earn extra money. In the evenings, after studying, he unloaded wagons with grain. But at the same time he managed not only to study well, but also to actively participate in public and even political life. So, for example, from the 96th to the 99th year, Alexander Sidyakin was the head of the Tver branch of the National Bolshevik Party. The end of this dominance coincided with the receipt of a diploma. And then, completely different horizons opened up before the young and ambitious man.
Legal activity
After graduating from university, Sidyakin immediately takes a job in his specialty. His first position was the position of legal adviser in the LLC “Legal Service“ Consultant ”. For two years of work in this office, he managed to rise to the chair of a senior legal adviser. The main profile of the activity of Alexander Gennadievich was election processes.
For example, in 2000, he participated in the preparation of the All-Russian Environmental Referendum, which, however, did not take place. In 2001, "knocked out of the saddle" the most promising "horse" of the election race. Her name was Rita Chistokhodova, and she claimed to be the head of the Komi Republic. But “thanks” to the efforts of the young lawyer, it did not grow together.
In 2001, Alexander Sidyakin said goodbye to the “Consultant” and jumped several steps of the career ladder at once, getting a job not somewhere but in the State Duma of the Russian Federation itself! There he served as an expert on electoral law.
Further, he more than once had to indirectly participate in the elections, which took place in various regions of Russia. He supported some candidates, tried to prevent others ... The geography of this activity of Sidyakin covers the Krasnodar Territory, the Bryansk Region, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Komi and, of course, Moscow.
The experience gained while participating in numerous election campaigns later came in handy to Alexander Sidyakin, a politician.
Political activity
The springboard for the jump into big politics was the Russian party of pensioners, whose Bashkortostan regional branch he headed in 2006. When a young man was asked with surprise why this particular political force, he replied that we were all pensioners; just someone already, and someone sooner or later will. And you need to prepare a sled in the summer, that is, already now take care of your worthy old age.
But soon Sidyakin Alexander Gennadievich Already presided over the regional branch of the Just Russia party, from which in 2007 he ran for the State Duma. And although he was the first number on the list, he did not go to the main legislative body of the Russian Federation then. And I didn’t get into the kurultai of Bashkortostan either.
In 2009, Sidyakin “tied up” with Bashkiria, leaving it, and with “Fair Russia”. The exit from the party was later explained by its transition to the opposition to Vladimir Putin.
Alexander Sidyakin - Deputy of the State Duma of Russia
In the same 2009, Alexander Gennadievich took the post of Secretary of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, which a little later became part of the All-Russian Popular Front. And he, in turn, was organized in support of then Prime Minister Putin and the United Russia party in the presidential and parliamentary elections.
Sidyakin’s candidacy is being nominated for parliament on United Russia lists, and this time he is running! In 2011, Alexander Gennadievich became a deputy of the State Duma. He remained and remains non-partisan, but is included in the faction of "United Russia".
Resonant projects and initiatives
At the deputy post, Alexander Sidyakin developed vigorous activity. The young politician continually came up with various initiatives and prepared all kinds of projects. Many of them resonated in society, but remained unrealized.
Among the high-profile “cases” of Sidyakin, one can note the bills on NGOs-foreign agents, on introducing responsibility for insulting the feelings of believers, on toughening the punishment for participating in unauthorized rallies, etc. As for the latter, the deputy suggested imposing a maximum fine in the amount of one and a half million rubles.
Scandalous attacks
Alexander Sidyakin, whose biography began in such ordinary conditions, quickly managed to become a very famous person in the country. And all thanks to participating in numerous scandalous stories.
So, for example, once he trampled on a white and blue ribbon right on the parliamentary platform, accusing its “carriers” of betraying their country. The deputy also demanded the exclusion of the USA from FIFA, attacked the Russian representation of Google for the search engine designating Crimea as Ukrainian, and Wikipedia publicly reproached for its definition of the peninsula as a disputed territory ...
Many, probably, expect from the elected representative, who began in the party of pensioners, loud statements today - in the context of the government’s plans to extend the “working age” to the Russians. But so far, Alexander Sidyakin has not particularly spoken about the retirement age.
Personal life
The personal life of the deputy, unlike the public, does not shine with diversity. He has long been “deeply” married, has a son and a daughter.
In his free time he enjoys extreme fun. He is fond of skiing (mountain and cross-country), swims perfectly, loves hiking and mountains. Among his achievements is climbing Mount Elbrus.
And in January 2015, the name of Alexander Sidyakin thundered throughout Russia, when he and his colleague Oleg Savchenko went to conquer Antarctica and ... disappeared. True, they were found very soon, but they made a lot of noise. However, this skill does not hold the son of a nurse and a worker!
