'E' additives, harmful and safe

Unfortunately, progress does not always bring only positive things to people's lives. Sometimes, especially when innovations are introduced into the sphere of people's nutrition, a negative effect is observed. For example, the invention of various food additives that enhance palatability, play the role of thickeners and colorants, flavors and preservatives, has become another test for the human body. The consequences of applying them do not begin to affect immediately, and therefore a person is not always able to adequately respond to the causes of diseases.

Food additives include artificial and natural substances that are used to improve the properties of the product, its longer storage and transportation. The name of each additive contains the letter “E” and a number. The presence of additives must be marked on the product label - this is a prerequisite.

There are toxic and safe food additives for humans. Worldwide prohibited: E121, E123, E216, E217, E240, E924a, E924b. These are the unhealthy E food additives. The remaining supplements are considered safe, but some of them cause allergic reactions and adversely affect the digestive tract.

Tests on the action of food products that contain additives "E" are carried out in special laboratories. Only after clarifying the effect of such additives on the human body, is it allowed to sell products containing them.

E 102 causes an allergy;

E128 contribute to the development of oncology and congenital malformations;

E 216 and 217 cause severe poisoning;

E 250 promotes the development of hypoxia and oncology, causes vitamin deficiencies and poisoning;

E 320 causes an increase in cholesterol;

E 400-499 can cause a disease of the gastrointestinal tract ;

E510, E513 and E527 disrupt the intestinal tract, cause relaxation of stool and liver disease;

E951 is the cause of mental disorders and a decrease in serotonin in the cerebral cortex.

When buying goods, pay attention to what is written on the label.

Remember that supplements are less where the shelf life is shorter !

The most dangerous foods that contain E additives are:

- chewing gum, because they contain sweeteners, which can cause caries formation;

- chips;

- "liquid smoke";
- colored and carbonated drinks;
- “Galina Blanca” cubes and similar seasonings containing monosodium glutamate, which with frequent use causes allergies, hearing loss, glaucoma;
- some chocolates of such manufacturers as: “Nestle”, “Alpen Gold”, “Nesquik”, “Sweet”, “My Family”, “Airy”.
- some dairy products with a long shelf life;
- some sausages.

Dear customers, be sure to study what is written on the package! You must remember that you have the right to return the goods back to the store if at home you saw dangerous food additives on the label. You can, without looking at the label, buy a product that contains many harmful additives. Some substances in them are able to accumulate and have a carcinogenic effect, cause various mutations in the body.

Therefore, the use of such substances will someday make itself felt. Eat natural products from your own summer cottage or buy them from other gardeners. Such food does not contain harmful substances that can adversely affect your body. Vegetables and fruits from the garden do not contain additives "E", but have useful properties. It is better to take dairy products from a neighbor who holds a cow - you will not buy such milk in any store.
