Ham salad: a recipe for every taste

Ham is an excellent meat product, good in itself, and when added to salads. It is believed that this is a sausage product, in fact, ham is obtained after salting and smoking a whole piece of meat, most often pork. Juicy, fragrant, natural ham is completely unlike sausages, consisting of ground meat and many other additives. Fans of this product now have a huge choice: ham, loin, brisket, knuckle, neck from different manufacturers, but still ham remains a rather expensive product. That is why most housewives prefer to use it not in cutting, but to include it as a central component in salads.

Ham festive salad, recipe number 1

  • 150 grams of ham;
  • 80 g of chicken (boiled);
  • 4 hard boiled eggs;
  • 30-40 g of leaves of any green salad;
  • a tomato;
  • 150 g pickled fruit;
  • grated cheese;
  • mayonnaise.

Straw meat, ham and lettuce. Chop the eggs finely, mix with meat and salad, salt, season with mayonnaise sauce and put in a dish. The remaining components are for decoration, sprinkle a slice of salad with cheese and beautifully lay on it chopped pickled fruits and a tomato.

Salad with ham and peas, recipe number 2

  • 300 grams of ham;
  • 150 grams of rice and green canned peas;
  • tomato (for decoration);
  • mayonnaise, herbs, salt and pepper.

Boil loose salad for salad and cool it, ham must be cut into small cubes. Combine the main ingredients, mix with the sauce, salt and pepper. Garnish with lettuce and tomatoes.

Ham salad, recipe number 3 "Italian"

  • 250 grams of raw beautifully shaped pasta (feathers, shells);
  • 300 g of ham and cheddar cheese ;
  • 1 cucumber, half a bell pepper;
  • 1 bunch of green onions;
  • ½ cup green peas;
  • salad dressing to taste (not pure mayonnaise), for example, mustard-honey sauce from recipe No. 6.

Boil pasta according to the instructions on the packaging, drain the water, rinse thoroughly in cold water. Mix all the components previously cut into cubes, season, salt and pepper, cool before serving.

Ham salad, recipe No. 4 "A la Mediterranean"

  • ¼ kg of ham;
  • ¼ kg white cabbage;
  • 100 g pasta;
  • 70 g of carrots and 50 g of celery root;
  • mayonnaise, salt, greens.

The components included in this recipe are unusual, but the salad is balanced in taste, satisfying and not heavy for the stomach.

Traditionally cut the ham into cubes, chop the cabbage with a medium sized straw and grind with salt until the juice is highlighted. Boil carrots and celery, then cut in the same cubes as ham. Boil pasta as usual and rinse well. Mix all the products, salt and season, decorate with herbs.

Ham salad, recipe number 5 "Spicy"

  • 300 g of ham and potato;
  • 100 g of fresh apples, lettuce and pickled cucumbers;
  • celery root, onions, herbs;
  • for dressing: mayonnaise, mustard (to taste), salt.

A combination of apples, celery and mustard will give a special piquancy to this salad. Dice the main components (boiled potatoes and celery root, ham, cucumbers, apples). Finely chop the onion and soak the bitterness in a vinegar solution (1 teaspoon per glass of water) for half an hour. Cut the salad into strips, mix the ingredients, season with a mixture of mayonnaise and sweet mustard.

Summer salad with ham and grapes, recipe number 6

  • ¼ kg of washed and dried salad greens;
  • 120 g ham with a pronounced smoked taste;
  • ¼ kg pitted grapes, cut in half.

For honey-mustard sauce, you need to take 1/3 cup of natural vinegar, honey, mayonnaise, vegetable oil, 3 tablespoons of Dijon mustard and ½ teaspoon of small iodized salt.

Cooking:

  1. Chill the pre-prepared salad, ham and grapes.
  2. Heat natural vinegar and honey until the honey dissolves, boil for 3 minutes and cool.
  3. Beat mayonnaise, mustard and salt, gradually add vegetable oil, at the end add a mixture of vinegar and honey. The sauce should be homogeneous and dense.
  4. Mix all components and season, cool before serving.
  5. For those who like to experiment with tastes, I can advise replacing lettuce with slices of melon.
