And a huge place in this is occupied by social networks that allow you to get acquainted and communicate with other people without leaving your room.
VKontakte as a popular social network
VKontakte is one of the most famous social networks.
In Belarus, the popularity of this network provided it with the first place among users, in Russia - the second, in Ukraine - the third, in Kazakhstan - the fifth and twenty-eighth in the whole world. Her daily audience totals more than 40 million people. Constantly improving, changing VK settings,
appearance, functions, this network is not inferior to others and creates new opportunities for its users.
VK design update
On August 1, 2016, the VKontakte social network team completed the main work on the new design, which lasted more than a year and a half, and included it in a limited number of users in test mode. Those 10% who agreed to test this update were pleasantly surprised, after which the new design was displayed on all accounts voluntarily and forcibly. A lot has changed: VK settings, font, functions, common interface, etc.
Many errors were also fixed, and VKontakte began to work faster. About 2500 changes of the old design led the VK team to a completely different look from the last 10 years. Many were happy about the positive changes, but some did not accept the new design, and complaints fell in the direction of the VKontakte team. But still, such an update was a step forward, and no one will return to their obsolete one.
Where are the settings in the new design VK?
Settings in the new VK are not displayed on the left, as was the case in previous versions. Those who paid attention to this must have tormented themselves in their search. In the new design, the VK settings can be opened as follows: on the upper blue panel in the right corner displays the username and a small photo of the account, and next to it is a small bright arrow. By clicking on it, after the section “My Page” and “Edit” you can find the necessary settings. There were no significant changes in them. In the “General” menu of the “Page Settings” column, it is supplemented with the “Accessibility” item for people who need voice synthesizer speech for some account controls. VK settings still provide access to page security, privacy, alerts, blacklist, application settings, mobile services and payments.
There is no possibility to switch to the old VKontakte design, which means that such a function is also not provided in the settings. The VK team promises to refine all update errors, if any are found. The new design gave VKontakte a new life and significantly increased the level of its work.
