In every city there are today a great many different educational institutions. And higher - universities, institutes, academies - and secondary special. These include technical schools, colleges, schools. In some, you can do after the ninth grade, in some - after the eleventh. In the glorious city of Vladimir there are also enough all kinds of institutions where you can "gnaw" the granite of science. The colleges of Vladimir after the 11th grade, for example, include the college of culture and art. What specialties are in it, how to enter there and how much to study - we will tell further.
Vladimir Regional College of Culture and Art: History
Vladimir College of Culture and Art, which, as stated on the website of this educational institution, is the only institution in the entire region for the training of specialists of this profile, will turn ninety years next year. This is a veteran college whose story is quite fascinating.
It all began in the distant twenty-ninth year of the last century, and not in Vladimir at all, but in Yaroslavl. It was there that one of the first library colleges in the whole country was opened. Just in those years, this direction became very popular. Four years of young librarians were trained in Yaroslavl, and in the thirty-third year, the future Vladimir Regional College of Culture and Art was transferred to Vladimir. It received the name of the Vladimir Library College. It is for this reason that in various sources you can find different indications of the date of college formation - somewhere they write the twenty-ninth year, and somewhere - the thirty-third, because formally before this period in Vladimir there was no such institution.

But these are still trifles, which are not worth paying special attention to. And here's the thing: for the next twenty-six years, the library college quietly existed, preparing and releasing personnel for storing books. However, in 1959 an order came "from above" to reorganize the technical school - and the conveyor for the preparation of the library staff became a cultural and educational school.
From college to college
Then, in the fifty-ninth year, no one knew that these were not the only transformations in the name and structure of the future college. Exactly thirty years later, the institution was reorganized again - it became the Vladimir School of Culture (although nothing except for the name has changed much). And finally, nine years later, in the ninety-eighth year of the last century, the school of culture became what it is today - the Vladimir Regional College of Culture and Art, a licensed educational institution.

How much to go to college
The question that is always relevant is the length of study. The term of study directly depends on the chosen specialty. So before you know how much to study in college, you should decide on the direction that you would like to master. So, for example, in the above list of profiles, the first six specialties involve almost four years of study - three years ten months, to be more precise. The remaining five occupy exactly one year less - two years and ten months.
Let us dwell in more detail on some of the most interesting specialties that can be obtained at this institution. Many of them deserve special attention.
Stage decoration
A very interesting specialty is fake decoration. A student who has received such an education will be able to call himself a specialist in theatrical and decorative art and work in theaters, preparing the appearance of the performance. The way the performance will be accepted by the audience does not depend at all on the work of the actors and the director, the work of people of the "second plan", those who are always behind the scenes, is important no less, and maybe more. For admission, you need to pass two exams - drawing and painting, gaining a total of at least seventy points. Exams take place in two days.
Choreography
Those who are fond and engaged in dancing can choose for themselves choreographic creativity, specialty code 510201. Such a student’s diploma will indicate that he is the head of an amateur creative team and also a teacher, which opens up truly wide opportunities for further employment for a graduate.
To enter this specialty, it is required to prepare and demonstrate to the commission several performances in advance, including modern dance, classical, folk, and also the composition of the dance and its staging. At the same time, the commission evaluates many factors: the applicant’s natural and physical data, his endurance, flexibility, height, weight, musical ear and coordination, as well as, of course, creative abilities, including artistry, personality, expressiveness, and the ability to improvise , and much more. To pass, you also need to score seventy points.
Organization of events
The direction "Organization and preparation of cultural events and theatrical performances" with the specialty code 510202 is interesting in that for admission to it you do not need to pass any exams at all. The commission looks exclusively at the average mark of yesterday’s schoolchild (by the way, the same applies to the direction of "Library Science"). This year, for the first time, recruitment for full-time study in this profile was carried out, before it was held exclusively in absentia. After graduating from this department, you can get the specialty "manager of socio-cultural activities."

At the Vladimir Regional College there is a special children's center "Palette", where children from five to fourteen years of age can practice rhythm, theater, and music. For example, the “Theater Creativity” profile involves classes in subjects such as stage speech, dance, vocals and, of course, acting. Children can be engaged, starting from the age of seven, and the cost of such a club per month will be a little more than two thousand rubles (four forty-five-minute classes take place per week, therefore, sixteen per month).

But kids who have reached the age of five can go to the rhythm. In addition, they will also be engaged in gymnastics - for the same money as above. Only classes per week are not four, but three. Teachers of the direction “Musical Folklore” are really looking forward to their children from six to eight years old. They will be told and shown what folk dance, folk music, folk calendar and folklore ensemble are. The number of lessons per month and the cost of training coincides with the direction of "Theater creativity".
At the same price and with the same number of classes you can go to a circle of arts and crafts. In these classes, children of seven to nine years of age are ready to acquaint with the basics of modeling, drawing, painting and decorative arts.
