Do I always need full-time education

Currently, higher education has become available to almost every person who can study at a higher education institution both on a budgetary basis and on a contractual basis, that is, pay a fee for acquiring knowledge. The most common is full-time education, although there are other forms.

Full-time (full-time) form of training

Full-time education is based on the principle of personal communication between students and teachers during lectures and seminars in the amount established by the schedule. It is believed that this is what makes it possible to expand and strengthen students' knowledge, and very few topics are assigned to independent study, and not the most important ones. Students are required to attend classes daily (excluding weekends), and not to miss them without a good reason.

The term of study varies from 4 to 6 years, depending on the chosen educational institution and a particular specialty. In some cases, this period may be reduced to 3 years. The advantage of this form of training is that young people receive a deferment from service in the armed forces, students who study well on a budgetary basis can receive scholarships in the prescribed manner, personal contact with the teacher allows you to better understand and understand the topic. There are a large number of contests and competitions that allow you to receive grants for training or to complete an internship in another country.

Evening training

In addition to full-time, there is also full-time evening training, which allows students to simultaneously acquire knowledge and apply them in practice, that is, work. The advantage of such training is that after graduation, a student who already has work experience will be able to get a higher paying position. Such training involves conducting classes several times a week (including weekends), usually in the evening.

If a student has already received secondary special education in the chosen specialty, then the period of study for him is 3 years, however, this is not an โ€œaccelerated courseโ€, as some applicants believe. In addition, the full-time evening education gives the opportunity to get a higher education if the results of the exams are not too high, but you still want to get knowledge.

Distance learning

In fact, full-time and part-time studies have much more differences than general ones. In this case, the student must independently study almost all the necessary material, a visit to a higher educational institution is necessary only for passing exams and tests. 50-60 days a year are allotted for the session and conducting installation lectures.

Extramural and full-time studies have another significant difference - in most higher education institutions, and, regardless of their form of ownership and payment (contract or training on a budgetary basis), the student is obliged to provide and every year to update the certificate that he has what Some work with official employment. For the period of the session, the university or the secondary special educational institution sends a call to its student for the session, on the basis of which the enterprise administration provides paid study leave.

Of course, any form of training in the chosen specialty has its own advantages and disadvantages, and each student, even at the time of filing the documents, must imagine how he will study, what means exist, and how it will be possible to combine work and study. In modern conditions, almost any specialty can be obtained in any form of training - the only exception to this rule are medical schools, in which no form of training is possible, except full-time.
