One of the most popular groups in Ukraine is the duet of Vadim Oleynik and Vladimir Dantes. Their work can be found under the two names "Dantes & Oleinik" and "DiO. films". Unfortunately, in 2015, the duo broke up. Now Vadim Oleinik is engaged in a solo career and has already released the single "Funny". He perfectly combines his solo career with training on the football field.
Vadim Oleinik: biography
The future popular singer was born in Chernivtsi in 1988. His mother spent most of the time in Milan, so from childhood he became very independent. His main dream was football, but Vadim's parents did not let go of a sports boarding school located in Kiev.
After school, he entered the construction college, after which he decided to change his profile. Vadim Oleinik remembered another of his old dreams - to sing. Therefore, he moves to the capital and enters the Poplavsky University of Culture at the department of pop vocal.
In 2008, he auditioned for the Ukrainian Star Factory-2, where he met with Vladimir Dantes. They begin to collaborate and win the show. Their duet is taken under the wing of Natalia Mogilevskaya, who collaborated with young people until 2014.

In 2009, the band had their own concert program ready. In 2010, they recorded the album "I am already 20", which consisted of 14 tracks. Almost every one of them became a hit. From this moment, the duo began to actively release singles and videos. In 2011, Vadim Oleinik as a member of the group participates in the Russian part of the Cannes Film Festival. There, the team performed three songs, including their hit "Girl Olya".
Two versions of the video “Open Wound” became a triumph for the duo, which was liked not only by fans, but also by foreign experts in the musical field. In addition, the duet in 2011 made an excellent cover version of the song of the Rondo group - Universe. The same year brought the group several awards from Russian radio stations and media representatives.
In 2012, the group took part in the show “Star Factory: Confrontation”, which was held in Russia, where Igor Krutoy praised the work of young people. After the finals, they were invited to participate in the New Wave festival.
What is Vadim doing now
As we already mentioned, in 2015, creative let Vadim and Vladimir split up. Vadim Oleinik was not taken aback and began to build his own solo career. He has a lot of fans, whom he attracted even while participating in the Ukrainian "Factory".
Now the young man works on the TV channel Music Box UA as a VJ, and also plays football. He was able to get the first rank in this sport, and also become one of the best players of the Maestro football club. In the team, he is listed at number 22 and serves as a midfielder.
