In today's society, the most diverse people are united daily. Communicating with a person, we understand whether he is good or bad. Today you rarely see someone called an altruist. And not everyone knows what this word means, because we have forgotten the main character traits that we should appreciate in people. So who is an altruist? What is going on in his head? What power drives them? What is he capable of?
An altruist is a person who acts in accordance with his life principle. He tries to sacrifice something for the sake of other people, unselfishly helps and gives something to those in need. Sometimes the victim may be time, energy, material values. The main thing such people need is caring for someone. They like to give their attention, affection, feelings and in return just want to see a person happy. In marriage, such people are ideal partners for their soul mate.
They tried to find out who the altruist was from ancient times, sometimes not understanding why in a tough and domineering world a person behaves this way. Why is it driven by a position of selflessness? In fact, such people were born in order to make the world a better place. They put other people's needs, interests and values above their own, for them there is no good reason for the act. Altruists believe that they do good and change the lives of others for the better. Sometimes, unfortunately, they are simply used.
Today, people who seek to give everything for the well-being of others are watched with caution. Some say: why do we need this support that no one will ever appreciate? And so everything is fine, let them understand. This, according to psychologists, is wrong and equates to egoism. The last character trait makes a person selfish and pessimistic. Altruists, egoists are antonyms, such people are absolutely opposite, with different views and attitudes.
As shown by numerous studies, today altruists cause negative emotions. Several role-playing games were held, which showed that mankind is better disposed to mean, lazy and greedy than to disinterested people like angels. Why is this happening? Who is the altruist for the people and what has earned such disgrace? The answer is obvious: each person simply cannot be completely disinterested, it is wild to see this line in other people, he simply does not trust what is happening.
Also, which of us wants to be worse than the other? Nobody! Therefore, altruists are treated so wary and negatively. They are too good for our cruel world. No matter how hard an ordinary person tries, good and evil will always fight in him, and, as a rule, evil will overcome a little. What follows from this - ordinary people will always be a little worse than angels.
If you interview part of the population, not everyone will answer who the altruist is. Perhaps, knowing that these are really disinterested and kind people, mankind would not take them so strictly, would set them as an example for the younger generation. It is possible that this will happen over time.
