When buying a new phone, I would like to quickly transfer all my favorite songs, photos, pictures to it, so that you always have them at hand. To do this, simply connect the phone to the computer and perform the copy. However, for novice users, such a simple operation often turns into a serious problem.
First, let's figure out how to connect the phone to the computer. There are two most common ways to connect modern mobile devices to a PC: using a USB cable or via Bluetooth.
Connecting via a USB cable is considered one of the most reliable. It comes complete with a telephone; instructions for use are also included. So, we connect the telephone and the computer with each other through a cable. Now the fun begins: in order for the PC operating system to “see” your device, you need to download the appropriate drivers, only after that it will be identified and ready to work. Usually, a software disc is also included. However, some manufacturers place the driver folder directly in the phone’s memory, and when connected to the computer, the user is prompted to install them. The phone’s memory card (or internal memory module, depending on the design) will be
displayed on the computer as a removable disk, where you can perform standard operations: copy, rename folders, delete files.
Often, owners of expensive smartphones ask on the forums for advice: "I can’t connect my phone to my computer through a cable. I installed drivers, but the device is still not recognized." The fact is that to ensure the correct connection of smartphones of some manufacturers (in particular, such as Samsung, Sony Ericcson), a special intermediary program must be installed on the computer. It can be downloaded on the official website of the developer for free.
Now about how to connect the phone to the computer using the wireless module. Most modern PCs and smartphones have a built-in Bluetooth adapter. Before connecting the phone to the computer, make sure that Bluetooth on both devices is turned on and visible.
In the computer menu, right-click on the “Bluetooth” icon, select “Add New Connection”. The search for new devices will begin, after its completion, from the list provided, select the name of your phone and click on it. Then enter any digital code that you will need to redial on the phone. If necessary, additional synchronization settings can be made through the "Options" menu. When the devices are connected, a new shortcut with the name of your phone appears in the computer’s Bluetooth menu. In order to send, for example, a picture, you just need to right-click on it and select "Send", then select one or more files and click "OK". In the window that appears, the transfer process is displayed.
So, we figured out how to connect the phone to the computer, and made sure that there was nothing complicated about it, it was enough just to carefully follow all the instructions.
