The university was founded in 1994 on the initiative of Professor Khachatur Vladimirovich Khachaturian, who proposed the creation of a higher educational institution to train professional diplomats. The main task of Kiev International University is to prepare the political, economic and scientific elite of Ukraine. Now at the university in different directions 4800 people study. The permanent staff consists of 190 highly qualified professors, and practitioners in the field of jurisprudence, international relations, political science, etc. often come to lectures. The university prepares bachelors in the following areas: international relations, journalism, philology, computer science, art, law, construction and architecture, political science, tourism, pharmacy, management and administration, dentistry, economics, entrepreneurship, psychology. At Kiev International University, the cost of training varies from 14500 to 38500 hryvnia per year, depending on the faculty. Admission Rules

Ukrainians enter the university according to the results of the ZNO (necessary subjects can be found on the official website of the university), creative contests or introductory conversation (if necessary). For admission to the magistracy, you must pass an entrance exam that tests knowledge of the subject of study and a foreign language.

Foreigners or stateless persons can enter the Kiev International University according to the results of the introductory competition, passing exams in subjects determined by the rector. Foreigners must have a certificate of completion of high school in their country. A motivation letter, which plays an important role in admission, must also be attached to the list of required documents. The cost of training for foreigners is the same as for citizens of Ukraine. Discounts and scholarships can be received by students who enter on the basis of certain international agreements and / or refugees.

The total area of ​​the hostels of Kiev International University is 20 thousand square meters. The hostels are located in three blocks: on Oksamytova Street, Lvovskaya and Verkhovinnaya. According to the student of the university, living conditions are not bad. Each building is equipped with wireless Internet, washing machines, a kitchen, necessary furniture, uninterrupted water supply and 24-hour security. Blocks are located near the university and metro stops, there are also supermarkets and cafes nearby. Prices for 2,3,4-bed rooms vary from 500 to 1,500 hryvnia per month. The new brainchild of KiMU - lyceum - offers students in grades 4-11 to develop their talents, based on the main principles of functioning of KiMU. This is the study of languages ​​according to the author’s program of Khachaturian Kh.V., individualization of study, vocational training, development of creativity, work in teams, etc.

The lyceum is divided into specialized classes: international relations, philological, medical, technical, social and humanitarian, art. Lyceum students can participate in clubs (diplomatic, psychological, intellectual) and go to various circles. Applicants say that the cost of training depends on the decision of the directorate. In addition, there is no guarantee of admission to KiMU.
