Chernova Tatyana Nikolaevna was born in the Northern capital, in a city on the Neva. There she received an art education, graduating from the Academy. V.I. Mukhina. She studied in the class of the famous artist S. A. Rotnitsky. Since 1983, Tatyana Chernova has been participating in exhibitions held in St. Petersburg.
During this time, she held eight solo exhibitions. In 2006, Chernova became a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, which was a significant stage in her work.
Style direction
It is based on the traditions of Russian impressionism, which fascinated our artists more than a century ago. Freshness, with which reality is perceived, excites the heart and soul and, apparently, will long be associated with our dream of beauty.
Landscape painting
Most of all, the artist is attracted by the landscape. Chernova Tatyana lovingly depicts the views of cities, forest copses, and coastal shores on her full. It works only in nature, not afraid of the piercing wind, rain, snow, cold and heat. And as a result, we see life in its landscapes, not abstractions. And the viewer is more and more attracted by the intelligible and clear language of the painter, who does not highlight his “I”, but tries to honestly reflect on the canvas the reality that surrounds him. She is poeticized by the artist’s love look, her heightened sense of beauty. Everything that she sees and carries into her work - unsteady expanse of water, flowering grasses, old trees and thin vines, the heights of sky blue with floating clouds - everything that causes admiration and captivates the senses, the artist Chernova Tatyana conveys sincerely and expressively. Her world is diverse, polyphonic and multicolored.
City landscape
Native living paintings of St. Petersburg attract the artist to the same extent as the exotic roofs of old Prague or the canals of Venice. Traveling the world, she reflects it in all its diversity. The narrow street in the Montmartre district gives the impression of old Paris, which Alexander Dumas loved so much. Only times have changed, and in the winding streets there is nothing to worry about.
Now it is a modern district, the streets of which cars cannot drive, because they are narrow. Their charm, bearing the aroma of centuries, is enjoyed by modern Parisian pedestrians. Three or four-story plastered buildings with narrow windows squeeze the street from two sides. Residents decorated several windows with boxes of flowers, because there is not a single tree and blade of grass on the street. She is enlivened by bright tents over small shops. The sign of the restaurant is visible. On the street are his tables, covered with white tablecloths and calling pedestrians to sit down for them. And in the distance, an azure sky opens up with snow-white clouds. Its reflections give gentle lilac shadows on the cathedrals, whose domes are directed upwards. Harmonious all colors, sustained in brownish shades. Bright color accents revive her. Particularly good is the color of stone cathedrals lit by the sun invisible in the landscape. There is no sun in the picture, but it filled her whole. Bright, joyful and carefree this day.
Forest landscape
It was written on the banks of the river Vyun. Chernova Tatyana is located with an easel on the very edge of a narrow winding rivulet. Its banks are overgrown with lush grasses, through the thickets of which it is impossible to pass. In this wilderness there is a ringing silence, occasionally interrupted by a cuckoo.
We know such small rivers, in the thickets of which we found ourselves more than once. The city dweller wanders through the forest, and suddenly, as in this picture, a narrow expanse of water flashes, which plays in the sun in gold, and in the shade reflects the blue sky, which is barely visible through the tops of trees. The whole bluish-greenish gamut perfectly shows the end of spring and the coming summer. Chernova Tatyana painted her native landscape, which speaks directly with heart and soul. It is close to many living wooded areas, where nature has remained untouched by civilization.
Still life
With a special feeling and female understanding of Chernova's beauty, Tatyana writes flowers. Lush lilac brushes that do not fit in vases, lush scarlet poppies, whose beauty is instant, and only transferred to the canvas, they can continue to delight the viewer. On simple unpainted wooden steps there is a basket with cut poppies.
Their magnificent heads shine with all shades of red - from saturated to pink. Each petal is carefully written. They do not merge into a single mass. Each of them is an individual. And the dark greens of the foliage, like the black with golden stamens of the core, only emphasizes the various shades of red. Poppies stand against the background of a wall painted in light green color. Two dark green unopened heads look especially decorative on it. So many poppies are cut that they do not fit in the basket and fall to the floor. They contain all the riot of a hot summer.
