After a while, the oil will begin to gradually float to the surface of the juice, where you collect it.

Sometimes sugar, water and a small amount of wine yeast are added to a mass of crushed berries and kept in a warm place. After a while on the surface of the pulp is sea buckthorn oil, which can be easily collected.

Another way to obtain oil is to dry the pulp, followed by the addition of vegetable as well as olive oil. In this case, the solution must be kept in a water bath for about three days. Then the filtered oil must be poured into a new portion of pulp. The described procedure must be performed at least four times. The finished sea buckthorn oil has a reddish tint and a thick consistency.
