religious worldview of a certain group of the population. It is not surprising that there are preferences that are distributed among people by no means on a national basis. Their foundation is precisely the common faith. This product can be considered halal meat, which is sold, bought and used both in the Arab countries and in India, and in Russia, and in the United States, and in the UK. The main consumers of it are Muslims, since such a product is made initially by them and for themselves.
What does this term mean?
Translated from Arabic, the word "halal" means "compliance", "consistency with the laws of Sharia." Naturally, such an interpretation is rather approximate, but it fully conveys the deep meaning. How is this meat different from usual
If it is bought in the “right” place where halal is fully respected, you can be sure that there is nothing in beef but natural meat. No colorants, flavors, GMOs or preservatives. The fear of carcinogens, which are many chemical additives, recedes without a fight - halal meat just does not contain them. Moreover, the meat from which the blood is completely released has a soft and pleasant taste, and at the same time, the probability of bacteria multiplying in it is significantly reduced.
What certainly is not halal
According to the Qur'an, eating by a person is not subject to: pork (there is not even an explanation why), meat of predators - both birds and mammals (in principle, this is reasonable - what they eat is impossible to control, as well as the health of those who ate their meat). Under the category of "halal meat" animals that have been strangled (crushed by pinching their throats) or died as a result of injuries are definitely not suitable. It is forbidden to eat meat, the origin of which is not known, completely banned the blood of any cattle. Our black pudding probably looks like a mockery to Muslims. By the way, these are very reasonable restrictions that are aimed at preventing mass poisoning or the spread of terrible diseases.
